That is absurd. I hope you get your score soon!uvandy wrote:Still haven't gotten my score in Europe and screen says Jan 2. Stayed up until 2:30 last night refreshing my email. Looks like terrible weather in the NE so I'm guessing Monday at the earliest now.

Re: Decembre 2013 Waiters
I'm still waiting, as well (took the 12/21 make-up test). I just called the LSAC office to see if they're open today, and you were right... "closed due to inclement weather." It was kind of cruel of them to list 1/2 as the score release date on our accounts. I can't believe we have to wait until Monday - or later!uvandy wrote:Still haven't gotten my score in Europe and screen says Jan 2. Stayed up until 2:30 last night refreshing my email. Told my mom I got a 171/98th percentile.
She asked why not 99th.

Is your mom a FOB? My cousin used to get 100s on his test; his father would ask why he couldnt get the 105 (extra credit stuff). It's a very FOB-ey thing to say.OVOXO wrote:Told my mom I got a 171/98th percentile.

My LSAT score is on hold, because they are still reviewing a fee waiver for my account. But the thing is... I'm not using the fee waiver to pay for the LSAT! I paid for the LSAT out-of-pocket in November! The fee waiver is just for applications at this point.
I called them this morning to see if I could find a sympathetic human being, but they are closed due to weather. GRRRRAHHRHGHGGRFF

Re: Decembre 2013 Waiters
Hey everyone, I've been lurking around here for most of the last year. I took the Oct administration and scored a 165. I went up to a 177 in December.
I just wanted to thank TLS! I self-studied with the resources here and my PT average was around 171 before October. I knew I bombed in Oct because I spent way too much time on game 2, ended up guessing for the last game and then I was so flustered that I screwed up my final LR section.
For the retake, I went through the trainer, drilled weaken/strengthen questions, and did every old RC from around 1-20 that I hadn't seen. I also retook practice tests along with a couple tests I had never seen (Superprep A&B, June 2007 and 52 maybe?) but gave myself only 28 minutes per section (30 on RC.) My PT average was around 174, including retake scores.
Also, PourMeTea, I drank Synchro before every PT and on December 7.
I freaked out the entire day before the test because I was afraid my center would cancel (I had driven 3 hours in an ice storm to get there) and I got maybe 3 hours of sleep the night before the test-- I just refused to let the other factors affect my performance.
Just wanted to let everyone know to just hang in there! My 165 gave me an option that I was ok with, and I really think it helped calmed my nerves the second time around. I also didn't ever let myself linger on a question I wasn't sure about. I ended up changing 3 questions in LR and RC since I had time left over, and I got them all right.
Again, thank you so much TLS!!! I really never thought I could have a chance at HYS. I work full-time and studied for about 2 hours/day from May-Dec, so please believe me that it can be done if you put in the work and focus on your weaknesses.

<<< also had a 2-week delay, also waiting on scores. Ugh. The rub, of course, is that my plan was to apply ASAP if I hit my magic number, or immediately re-register for the next test if not. Purgatory = suck.

Am I the only crazy person who has not looked at the score yet? I want to finish my essay(s) before I go through whatever emotional roller coaster that score will bring me.

I clicked on my email so quickly and saw my score so fast that it was almost anti-climatic. I wish I would have taken a moment to revel in receiving the email.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
