172, curve was -14, wow. Thank you TLS for for all the advice. I hope you all got scores you're happy with. Excited to see what happens this application cycle.

What's it like not spending your hours in LSAT books?

You know how when you were in college, you were constantly stressed out about exams and stuff and couldn't wait to get out into the real world and start working and now you are working and wished you could go back to being in school with all your friends and drinking and partying and shit rather than deal with bills and responsibility?louierodriguez wrote:What's it like not spending your hours in LSAT books?
Yeah, it's not like that at all.

Yup. By about 10 points. I know what went wrong the first time but I felt better the second time. I feel lost nowdosto wrote:Was it your second take? Did you under-perform compared to your PT average?dcoppo01 wrote:I scored awful again but improved from October... I have no idea what to do -_-

Any advice on this?rftdd888 wrote:I have a question for you folks about applications generally-
How much of the non-required fields in applications do you fill out? in one application, for example, a lot of non-required fields under the Education part of the application ask about my institution, date attended, date graduated, degree major, GPA, etc. It may also ask to list awards, things like dean's list which I already have in my resume and assumed they would learn of that way.
is it most prudent to "go hard" and fill out as much of these applications as possible, even the extraneous details or random personal questions they ask? I don't want to half ass it

Re: Decembre 2013 Waiters
-Wrote in October/13 for the first time, with zero preparation (ok, it was actually 4 days of preparation) - scored a 150. (I was travelling the worlddddd, don't ask!).
-Wrote in December/13 with a solid month of preparation - scored a 165.
44th percentile to 91. Thank you Kaplan!
Still, hard to be estatic as it was not the best I could have done. Nerves got the best of me on section 1 which was LG... I ended up having to guess on the last 12 questions (due to time restraints) and went -9. This makes me want to literally kick myself as I consistently went -0 on PTs. And on exam day, once I settled in and fought past 'panic mode' I finished LG(exp) with 6 minutes to spare, rechecked my answers and I am confident I went -0.
Then on LR2, I skipped the 4th last question, intending to return to the question later but ran out of time before I could go back and even bubble in a wild guess, furthermore not realizing that this had caused me to misbubble the remaining 3 questions. BOO!
So long story short... I actually don't know whether to be disappointed, content, or thrilled right now!

Still haven't gotten my score in Europe and screen says Jan 2. Stayed up until 2:30 last night refreshing my email. Looks like terrible weather in the NE so I'm guessing Monday at the earliest now.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
