LOL. i do see! personally i am not all that interested in the WE, just the ages. people in my life frequently tell me i need to hurry up if i want to go to school (im 27) - i like to think i don't pay that jibbajab much mind, but i can't help but be curious about whether others around my age (or older) are applying!BFlanagan wrote:I'm 26, and I don't have a 5 years post grad work experience. I interpreted it as full time work, but I do know people who worked full time in UG to support themselves, so I would assume they should count that.
What exactly do you want to know? If you're interested in how many waiters have held down full-time, post-graduate employment, then say so with a selected gradient.
Yuk i sound like a former professor.

I'm also 27...applying this cycle...actually in at my 2nd choice school already. We are not old...we have just enough real world experience to make wise decisions!wealtheow wrote:

Your use of "jibbajab" makes you seem old even though you're age doesn't strike me as old.

Hooray 27 club! It has always been such a lucky age... and if you times 27 by 6 and then add the age you were when you started Undergrad, you get 180!

Nice! Yeah I'm a big fan of Voyager but TNG probably wins out. Not letting my nerd flag fly here at all! Hahawealtheow wrote:

Interesting. I've gotten waivers to most of the t14 (excluding HYS). Penn is elusive.retaking23 wrote:Did anyone else receive a Penn fee waiver today? Idky but I got so happy...

I was pleasantly surprised. I had sent out all my solicitation-emails yesterday and decided that I would pay the Penn fee simply because I didn't want to bother filling out its fee waiver application form (with, I presume, some required documentation).Otunga wrote:Interesting. Do schools know our scores before we do? I haven't received any waivers except some lower tier schools.I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely the same knot in stomach feeling. Traffic for my local Wal-Mart has been dreadful and I do not look forward to fighting some minivan for a parking spot. Any tracking on the delivery? I hate when USPS tracking is lagged.wealtheow wrote:not the same, but i am nervously waiting for a delivery of gifts that was supposed to be here yesterday :/JustHawkin wrote:Anyone have any Christmas shopping left? yep, it should be here soon, if tracking is accurate and some catastrophe didn't go down. we had bad weather here last week so a lot of packages got re-routed and are just turning up. the person who this one is for is going to be here at like 3 today so eek, rush wrapping job ahead.JustHawkin wrote:Definitely the same knot in stomach feeling. i was out yesterday and all the bakeries/shops/walmarts are along this one tiny strip of road... not a good time. i wish you luck! i'd be especially cautious around anyone who has those customizable individual family members (including pets) decals on the back of their minivan...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
