65 might actually be the toughest test ever. Along with the hardest ever RC, LR's a little above average in difficulty and I believe it has the television show game.

My worst enemy on the LSAT has always been me flubbing around through the RC. October 2012 LSAT, I got an RC experimental. Boy, was that a great day.

Strangely enough, although I hate !kung, Chinese talk-story, and others as much as the next guy, my performance on those passages do not bring my RC performance on that particular RC down. I'm the most consistent -4 to -6 guy there is... except when I'm not like today and PT 43. NONE of those PT 43 passages was outlandishly difficult enough to be forever drenched in TLS infamy. Yet, I still found a way to go -8.

PS, 100th post.

I have a friend who was making fun of me for fucking up the RC on 70. "How hard could it be? It's just reading you dumbass." I told him to give it a try and gave him the RC section from 65. He went -20 :D

Fat -14 curve though (101 questions).
yeah, 67 was similarly difficult and had a -10 curve, so.
With Zones too. Not exactly a killer game, but I can see it throwing people off when unexpected.
I STILL have nightmares about 67's curve. -10 only? WTF. I personally thought it was a lot harder than PT70 which had a -12 and PT 65 was awesome because of that -14 (I went 174 while PTing and that's a huge aberration from my 170-172 range). These curves are 99% of the difficulty of the exam in question imo.

I think a STRONG argument can be made that 68.4 is the hardest game in existence. LG is all about mindset and approach, but 68.4 challenges that.

It's Halloween, I just got home from Baltimore, I'm finished with the LSAT forever, and I'm posting about specific Logic Games on TLS.

But idk, I got really good at games after I started making up my own for fun.
I solved yours like a champ and still feel like I never got the credit I deserve. THE ANSWER WAS B

If anyone asks for LR or RC advice (-5 on LG, so you don't want me giving you advice on that section) I'll probably pop in to give my opinion.
Well done on the score, drawstring! Any general tips for LR?
Very basic and general tips (mot of which are MLSAT based) are:

--MASTER premise and conclusion identification, and the ability to find a gap that needs to be filled to make the conclusion follow. This is heavily stressed by Manhattan LSAT, and while it may be basic stuff it helped take me to the next level. While it's particularly useful for assumption family questions (e.g. justify, strengthen, flaw), it's also very helpful on method of reasoning questions and conclusion questions. Remember, the correct answers to these questions will almost always relate to something in conclusion.

--become very familiar with quantifiers. By this I mean words like many, some, most, etc. You should know what type of language adequately weakens, strengthens, or allows an argument to follow, and which language is too weak/too strong. For example, 'some' is rarely sufficient to weaken or strengthen an argument.

--focus on eliminating wrong answers just as much as you do on finding the right answer. It's often difficult to articulate exactly why a certain answer is correct, but easy to spot 4 answers that are incorrect. When I only focused on finding the right answer, I'd waste time trying to explain to myself it right. Remember, you don't need to understand the logic of why an answer is correct, you just need to bubble the right box.

--drill, drill, drill! Do as many LR questions as you can. This includes older questions (1-20) that are still generally relevant today. These questions also have long stimuli, which characterized many of the questions on October's test. For me, drilling was particularly helpful for learning how parallel reasoning worked, as I didn't think any of the guides I used (PS and MSLAT) helped with those questions.

---this is a less serious issue, but make sure you do not read an 'agree' question as a 'disagree' question!

--this applies to all sections, but follow the text your reading with your pencil. This increases reading speed without impairing comprehension in my view, though you also want to be sure that you're not rushing. I found that doing this allowed me to finish with more time left, leaving more time to check my work or take a break before the next section.

---i also found that looking at each section as one quiz rather than a part of a 5 section, 3 hour test helped a lot mentally. Breaking the test up in that way made it less daunting for me, which helped with my confidence on test day.

68.4 was tough but it had a basic setup so at least you had a chance, and it was more a question of good you were with brute force. I think games with weird setups are objectively harder since you can be screwed from the start.
I hear that. You CAN absolutely be screwed from the start, but it also can be easy. 68.4 is hard no matter what.

used/new CDs is fun.

I'd say Dinos is the toughest game of all when you see it for the first time, while 68.4 lingers on as a challenging game no matter how many times you do it.
