LOL JUST WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO HAVE FOR US THIS YEAR.

68's such a strange one. I possibly could've 180ed it if not for missing 4 ALONE on LG 4 to reduce it to 174.

I'm looking at the poll and I realized that the best option for me was other and that I really burnt out in the last month . The problem is, I'm worried that even if I improve to a 168, I still won't get $ from U Berkley, UVa, Michigan, or Duke. I have a great GPA (3.94), but I'm not sure how much a retake will help me and the temptation to apply ED is really getting strong.

3.92/168, and I've looked up these stats on myLSN quite a bit. It appears you can still get OK money from UVA, Michigan and Duke, and good money from Cornell (80-100K). What's motivating me is a potential full ride at the mid/lower t14 and a strong chance at HYS.

Did my last PT a full 8 days before, I believe, and just drilling leading up to the test, including one section each of LR LG and RC the day before (don't think any of this is credited).

I think it's good that you didn't do a PT in the final week, though I wouldn't have done that much studying the day before.

After the test I noticed a lot of people who were doing serious studying in the days (even PTs the day before) prior to the test, and I think that's usually a very bad move. Going into the test mentally refreshed is a big bonus, and I think taking the last week off for the most part (very light review here and there, and warm up on the day) helped me a lot with my stamina, which generally wasn't great during preparation.

LOL JUST WHAT ARE THEY GOING TO HAVE IN STORE FOR US THIS YEAR. literally all the hellish tests of the 60s besides 67 have been tests from december admins.

LOL at posting this just as people were getting on the topic of test anxiety.

I was thinking the same thing when I read it.

I'm worried that my score will drop to be honest. I don't have any real excuse other than some mild test anxiety and burn out in that last month. My first couple of PTs after the LSAT Trainer get here will really determine what I do.

Just transferred into a clerical gig at the Public Defender's office, and I was looking forward to networking at the holiday party...the holiday party being held December 6th. :x

I'm going to disagree here. I think taking a PT 2-3 days before the test is a good move. I feel a bit sluggish and have a worse sense of timing when I PT after a break of 1 week or more. You should still be very fresh if you take the PT 2-3 days before and avoid studying the day before the test. That being said, any cramming the final week of the test is probably a bad idea. You're much more likely to burn out than to have a magical breakthrough leading up to the test.

I agree with SteelPenguin. I'm weird and "taking it easy"/not PTing the week before the test would actually make me more anxious since I'd feel like I'm losing timing skills/LSAT skills (or lack thereof) in general lol.

I guess it varies by individual, but I'm the kind of guy who could still be worn down by a PT even with more than 2-3 days to recoup. For me confidence is also a big consideration, as underperformances usually made me less confident, which is the last thing I wanted going into the real thing. My last week was fairly light in terms of LSAT material, and I went into the test full of energy and I think I could've done another 2-3 sections without problems.
