Re: December 2013 Retakers
I seriously don't even know how to do 3 PTs in a weekend without crying. I barely got through two on Mon/Tues without feeling like I needed a nap (and then subsequently have barely touched any prep material, let alone a PT since).bee wrote:your work ethic shames medosto5 wrote:I try not to think of it in terms of hours and rather in terms of what I want to get done. Re: December 2013 Retakers
Plan this weekend is two PTs (19 and 59) and finishing up my LR packets on justify and inference questions. I've been doing at least 3 sections a day from PT1-20. Weekends are for my full PTs. Not doing more than 10. For me, less is more.

It's painful for me to think about how much better my GPA would be if I had given a fugg my first 2 semesters at my university.

L4 q's in the Cambridge packets are just nasty. How many true L4's would you say we get in a typical LR section (including both)?

Re: December 2013 Retakers
Like a lot of people in here I had super super bad test day anxiety. I usually go -0 or -1 on RC (english major) but I was really rattled after LG section and forgot to set my watch for my time-- ended up finishing the section in like 18 minutes and went -8. Trying really hard to get the nerves under control and just realize that we are taking PT71, nothing more nothing less. Had been PTing 170-174s but I didn't find TLS until late in the game and despite pouring hours into studying I wasn't studying the right way. Crazy how uninformed you are until you "get into the loop" of LSAT prep.SkepticalAboutLaw wrote:You sound like me. 3.9+ and bombed the LSAT with a 165 -- after a 174 PT average. I'm trying to handle the nerves that killed me on test day, but I'm not really sure how.webbdp3 wrote:This is such a weird retake thread. Most of the other ones have a good chunk of kids who struggle with the LSAT but have super high GPAs. Everyone in here seems like absolute LSAT allstars (not to say their GPAs aren't solid as well). Put me in the other camp, 3.97 but limped in at 165.
Does anyone still want to do a review of 70 tonight or has everyone swayed to the Tuesday camp??
Was 165 a realistic score for you based on your PTs?
BTW thanks to the thread for the LSAT proctor suggestion, those random sounds do actually help spike the nerves a bit.
