Just noticed we had a new poll. "Are you ready?' That's the question lol. I really wanted to do some hardcore drilling this time around, being my third and final take and all, but all I did aside from PTs is go through The Trainer and do 4 extra RC sections. I feel I put in a decent amount of effort but idk, you always feel like you could've done things better. :| Now I feel compelled to take another PT today...

My 4.5 day plan:

Tonight: PT 69, tomorrow: PT 67 , then PT 70 (2nd retake after having taken it 5 days ago lol) just for a confidence boost, Wednesday and Thursday: review of my wrong answers/mistakes on the 17 PTs for this cycle until I feel absolutely certain I won't make them come Saturday, and Friday: chill the fuck out.

Basically, Wed, Thurs, and Fri are gonna be pretty light with emphasis on finding inner peace, practicing getting up earlier, etc.

Sound good?

I didn't think it was tricky at all, maybe you can tell me what you thought was tricky about this question and maybe I can help out.

I find retakes of PT's helpful for my confidence but I wonder if this is giving me a false sense of hope. I've ran out of all fresh PT's... is anyone in similar position? How are you feeling?

Drilled through 6 RC passages. Given how late it is and how not great my mental acuity is at this point of the day, pretty happy.

LOL agreed. I get a headache already from some level 2 flaw Qs. I rage-quit last night. Not sure how effective drilling is going to be right now when it just drains my mental energy.

PT 69: 177 (retake from 170 a few months ago)

LR:-0
LG:-0
RC:-0
LR:-4

Sad about the -4 on the second LR, although it was much harder than the first one. In retrospect, this seemed to foreshadow PT 70 lol. Definitely got some q's on that second LR wrong that I got wrong the first time around too. Time to review, review, review.

At this point, I'm totally cool with being the unassuming confident guy. Given that some of us retakers have little to no fresh material to prep with, how would you rather have it? All else equal, give me the "easier" retakes with the confidence that comes any day.

It's like we're manufacturing our own muscle relaxant to relieve that stress that would otherwise be there were we to look at these retakes and only say "you're of no value to me."

Edit: Also, I think we can make retakes quite and substantially useful if you use[d] them to work on processes instead of relying primarily on memory to answer. Kind of like doing a logic game with a time handicap.

doing some flaw + a few principle-support drills. Some 60s LGs, and a few LR drills.

At this point, how much can we improve? I mostly see these final few days as opportunities to hone and sharpen the skills I already have.

Hey that was a weird one. But AC B really weakens the argument. The original stim said "most of our best sales representatives" and B says "Most of the people hired by the company...". So B, by stating that most of the people who get hired as sales representatives have an engineering degree and little sales experience, eliminates a reason why the argument suggests that they should hire more people with engineering degrees to be a sales representative.

If i have 100 sales employees and most of my best ones have engineering degrees (say 90) but most of the people i hire to begin with as sales representatives have engineering degrees (say 85) then you would obviously think there would have to be some overlap between the two group. It's not that having an engineering degree makes them a great sales representative, its that people with engineering degrees are overrepresentated in our office. Thus eliminated the idea that having an engineering degree makes you a better sales man.

Hope that helps. If you need more clarity let me know

Is any one else's score basically determined by the order of the sections? I feel like my score is dependant upon where RC is placed. If its 1-3, I'm golden. If last, then goodbye 171+

Thanks! That makes sense. I think I took it a bit further in my post on MLSAT, but I thought about it along similar lines.

Third take of 70 on Thursday, review and then Friday off before the test. Sound good? Switching up the order of the sections and adding in a fresh RC section as exp (47) and thinking I'd do both RC sections after the break.

Do a section of RC last after your LR/LG prep during these last few days.
Thats my plan for today, tomorrow, and Thursday. Friday = no studying at all.
