Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
Just curious about what people generally think. Want to see some numbers here.

Hard for me to compare tests and it's hard to decide whether a test is hard/easy while in the moment of doing the test. So basically I have no idea.

Re: Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
Definitely harder:
LG: About the same difficulty. Completely manageable. Movies/Theaters had the look of a terrifying game, but wasn't so bad.
LR: Fairly standard, outside of 6-7 questions, but definitely a little bit harder than 69. Prompts were much denser and more long-winded on 70 than on 69. Also question stems were worded in weird ways that I hadn't seen before.
RC: Harder for sure. The only "easy" passage was the one on Caribbean dance. One of the tougher RC sections I've seen, I'd say.

LG: About the same, maybe a little tougher b/c of the twist on the movie game.
LR: One easier, one harder.
RC: No idea. During the test I thought it was experimental b/c it was so different. Now I just think I shit the bed on a few questions.
Overall about the same as 69. Definitely harder than 68 IMO.

LG and RC felt about the same for me, but LR was noticeably harder. Curve should be -11 at worst.

Re: Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
LG: Both very easy. I'll say 69 was slightly harder.
LR: 69 had so many weird questions that threw me off my game. I'm fine with hard Q's, but weird ones kill me. 70 was probably "harder", but I preferred it to 69.
RC: I thought 69 was a bit tougher. Risk/Pathogens/Money were all easy passages. 69 had that brutal Photography passage.
Overall, 69 by a nose. Both on the easier end of the PT scale, but with test day nerves...

Re: Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
The 70 LG seemed like a joke to me, I did it with 7 mins to spare. Hope I didn't fuck it up since people here are saying it was harder than 69, which I lost more points than normal on. The RC was a joke, the logical reasoning def. had a number of tough ones, but fatigue played a big part in that, I think.
I had three LRs, Sec 1, 3, and 5. I m hopin 3 was experimental. It was a tough one.

I got a 171 on PT69 but I had a lot of time to go back after the LR sections which I did not get during 70. I think it is hard to compare a real test with a pt so someone that took both for real will probably be a better tell of the difficulty between them than those of us that PT'd 69 and did 70 for the real thing.

Re: Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
I got a 172 when I took PT 69 (As a prep test, not in real life) and that's because I got a -6 on RC which killed me.
I definitely think it'll be a miracle if I got a 172 yesterday.
LG: easier than 69.
LR: This was way harder in my opinion. LR is my best section and I can usually consistently get -1/-2 per section (I got -1 on each LR in 69) but I feel like I made so many mistakes yesterday. Also, I can usually finish LR with a good 3 minutes left but yesterday I kept finishing right before time was called. I had no time to double check problems I was unsure with and I had to speed though a lot of questions at the end that I wish i could have spent more time reading carefully. I'm sure I got pulled into some traps which usually NEVER happens
RC: I actually didn't think RC was significantly more difficult. Scientific passages never phase me since I have a pretty good general knowledge of that kinda stuff so pathogens was a breeze. I will say that I thought 2 of the RC passages were absurdly easy, one of them was normal RC-level difficulty, and the comparative passage was really hard for me. I understood what the passages said and I could probably summarize still them for you right now but the question were really tricky imo.

Re: Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
LG, RC, easy. Finished with lots of time to spare and just daydream/nap.
LR was the most insanely difficult LR in the history of the LSAT in my opinion (I didn't have an experimental for it - only the two real ones - RC was my experimental). I normally go -0 to -1 per LR section on PT's with 5 to 8 minutes to spare but this one I'd be happy with a -3/-3 - also had to use the entirety of the time.

Yeah I also agree that the LR on 70 was much more difficult than 69. The stars question and the debate between Tommy and Lopez or something? UGH Hated that.

I sat officially for both and they felt about the same.

Re: Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
I'd say 70 was overall easier than 69.
RC was incredibly easy. Three easy topics, no unfamiliar words. Even the comparative reading wasn't difficult at all. The only tough one was the dance passage, but this was expected. It was so easy that I don't even remember what the passages were about - except the damn dance one, of course.
LR combined was about the same if I'm right about which one was experimental (I'm pretty confident on it though). Two LR sections were hard with one of them outright weird (this is probably exp), but one was incredibly easy - I finished it in 25m.
LGs were about the same.
People in my group who took 69 at the same location in June also said this one was easier. This however may be due to the fact that the June test was LOOONG (they said 7 hours total), while we were out before the lunch time.

is there any chance of a -13 curve or am I being greedy?

Re: Was 70 harder, easier, or the same as 69?
I cannot see that.
I think it will most likely be -11, with -12 then -10 being the next most likely.

LR: The easy section in PT 70 was easier than anything that I saw in PT 69. But the harder section in 70 was harder than anything in 69. Overall a bit harder in 70.
LG: Easier in 70.
RC: More difficult in 70.
Overall 70 was more difficult. By a bit.
