I donno, typically 50-80? But I'll do them by category of difficulty. And if that category is something greater than 40 I'll further break that down into two sections of 20 before reviewing.
Do you do them timed?

I can't due 20 then review because I get really bad headache from going back and forth. When I drill-I review as I go..I feel I learn more that way as well because the incorrect answer I've chosen is still fresh in my mind and I can use the reasoning behind choosing that answer in my review.
I'll keep the time in mind but I don't actively monitor it as though the packet were a PT. If a single question is taking me too long then I'll move on; otherwise, I become too caught up in details and the next question will be a struggle.

I'm so worried that the actual test isn't going to go like the PTs.

Last few PT scores were 166 (hopefully an anomaly, only sub-170 in recent memory), 171, 170, 172, 174, 173. It almost feels like improvements in one section comes at the expense of others. On the 172, I -6'd RC, but -1'd LR, so I cranked up the RC studying. Went -1 RC on the 173, but -5 LR. QQ

It's just PT 71.5, mate. Nothing more, nothing less. And yes, I still have this happen -- the sections balance out a bit. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing; just keep going. Your recent scores are looking pretty solid.

More LG drilling for me. Work/class doesn't end until 8 tonight though, and I try to get reasonable amounts of sleep, so I won't be able to do TOO much.

I took PT 59 today. I ended up with a scaled score of 177, but am a little annoyed because I made a silly mistake on the games. I plan to review the LR/RC a bit later.

Are people starting to introduce a 5th experimental section into PTs? If so, what type of section and where in the test? I have been picking from sections from earlier PTs that I have struggled with (mostly LG) and taking them before the actual PT, but I am wondering if I should be mixing up the location.

I've always used a 5th section. Sometimes I do a section that I'd recently seen (maybe a month ago), just to see if I've learned from some of my previous mistakes.

There was a games list circulating last test of the hardest games. I kept track of them in a document. I think this was most of them.

PT 1 Game 4 - Railways
PT 7 Game 2 - Dr. Y's Schedule
PT 13 Game 4 - Harvest ceremonies
PT 19 Game 2 - Theater company
PT 24 Game 4 - Antibiotics
PT 25 Game 3 - Golf/Tennis
PT 26 Game 4 - Lawmakers
PT 27 Game 3 - Film Buffs
PT 27 Game 2 - Lizards
PT 29 Game 3 - College dean
PT 30 Game 1 - Loaves
PT 34 Game 4 - Clinics
PT 36 - Bus/Window Seats
PT 37 Game 3 - Books on shelves
PT 40 Game 3 - Airlines
PT 41 - Rare circle
PT 55 Game 4 - Bus stop
PT 57 Game 3 - Dinosaur

I also think games from B and C were difficult.

Thanks so much! This will be really helpful for drilling and making PTs!

Is there generally one hard or two hard sections and then moderates? Is it possible to have just an overall hard test?

Or is this all an opinion? I found 61, 65 and 69 fairly easier than the other 60s. Has anyone else felt this way?

re: "is it possible to have an overall hard test?"

I suppose it could be subjectively more difficult than others you've encountered but it will be no different than others in terms of actual difficulty (well, any changes will be countered by the curve).

Yeah exactly, some tests are definitely harder than others. But theoretically that difficulty is not supposed to be reflected in your score at all.

Ive been going since around 9:30 too keep pushing. Its always around this time right before the exam that I get a wtf score on a PT panic and eventually calm down and pray that it was just a bad break. Cant get to high or to low at this point in your prep :D

Today, finish logic games section. 3 more to go.

Review what I did wrong, I only really messed up 2 out of 6 games so far.

I need to do some schoolwork, but if I do not, I will review some more errors I did. I want to PT on Fri, Sat. Review on Sunday. PT Mon, Wed, and MAYBE Friday (morning).

I bought the LSAC handbook today and PT 68 for my final test before the real thing. Just got a Georgetown Fee Waiver. So I am feeling good.

My body is ready

166 in my PT this morning. Missed about 8 due to time constraints. Not too bad. Feeling confident heading into next week. Hopefully I will have my pace down by then.

Would have had a 167 but I changed my final answer at the last second from the correct response to the incorrect response

EDIT: Was PT65, btw. Found a few Q's in the first LR section a bit more difficult than normal and one RC passage seemed a bit dense, but the rest was fairly straightforward.
