I'll probably be taking that test as well depending on how Feb. goes for me. Some advise: just from the extensive drilling that you will be doing on the LR section, your general reading comprehension skills will improve. Thats why I suggest working on RC lastly. BTW I was also never an avid reader during high school either, like I was one of the kids that hated reading-now I love it.

I also have the PS LRB. Should I also read that one as well? or is the MLSAT sufficient? (Pun not intended)

IMHO they are very different in style. I found it helpful to read both. (Which I would not recommend for LG, but for LR seems ok)

I read on here that the Powerscore is best if you're trying to break into 160, Manhattan if you're trying to break into 170. I did start in the 160s, but I've always found Manhattan LG to be a lot better. I'd stick with that.

I do look in my LGB for another perspective once in a while, though.

I went from -15 and over time to -0 with time to spare nearly every time just using the LGB and the packets.

Okay, I'll just start with LGB then, read the MLSAT after while drilling or something.

I have 2 months each for RC (PSB), LR(LRB & MLSAT LB), and LG(LGB then MLSAT LG) to read and drill (Cambridge 1-38) after each chapter. then 3 months left for PTs (39-68).

Been on RC now for a couple weeks. Seeing lots of improvement after doing 10 sections so far.

Other Recommendations? Much Appreciated

You've got a good plan going, especially if you're PTing on the low side. You may begin to run out of material pretty quickly, though. 9-10 months is a pretty long time.

Yes, I read both the bible and Manhattan but would still make a few mistakes here and there on my preptests. I read this (which was a very easy read btw) and now I am ALWAYS -0 with time to spare.

Yeah, but I'm entering school in the fall, and only taking 12 credits to study. Same thing with the spring 14'.

How should I go about reading both LRB and MLSAT LR? should I read both chapters that are -for example- "must be true" chapters, then drill?

I'm gonna ask Mike. I think he played a role in writing the Manhattan system.

I suggest you buy them both! 1 book = score increase, therefore 2 books = score increasier.

3rd and 2nd edition LR are essentially the same, but we cleaned up a bunch of stuff in the 3rd edition (the first link, the book with Matt's picture on it), so I'd get that one.
