I need your help December preppers! 170 on the October test, which was three points below what I was averaging going into the test. Part of me is thinking retake, another part is thinking just apply. It would be my third take.

Good luck, all.

I'm gonna follow this thread to check in on friends. Good luck! My oct. retake was focused on game day, i.e. not choking like in June! I followed Noodley's guide with some tips to make sure I was solid on game day. TLS has been good to me, so I'm returning the love for the 17x.

Get some, guys.

Any suggestions on where to go from here? Retaking from October. Did Blueprint Online and still have it available for the December test....any thoughts of supplementing it with the LSAT trainer?

Yeah. Good read. Some people have been raving about the LSAT trainer on here so I figured I'd ask. I see Noodley recommends the Manhattan LR. Does anyone have experience with both guides?

Checking in. I have to sleep on it tonight and figure out if I want to sign up for December by tomorrow morning before all the seats are filled.

Is 1 month going to be enough? I'll just be doing PTs. Scored 171 due to nerves of first time sitting maybe? It's strange because I went -0 on RC which I've never done in all of the practice tests I've ever taken, but I went a devastating -5 on LR1. I opened with LG and I think that I panicked. Even though I got away with a respectable -2 on it, it left me shaky for the LR that followed.

I was getting 174-176 on tests the final week of my prep, so I'm looking to just get two more questions right if possible :(

Man same boat as you. I don't know if I should just apply, but the admission statistics / merit aid are just not looking very inviting.

Got my Oct. 2013 score and immediately PT'd it before checking answers to gauge any potential gain I've made in the last few weeks:

( ) = New

LG: -4 (-3) Disappointed, usually -0/-1 on LG
LR1: -9 (-2) Very pleased
RC: -6 (-2) Was actually intrigued by each passage
LR2: -6 (-5) Worst LR of life

161 / (170)

Made me feel better after getting the score, considering the more I studied the worse I think I did. Not sure how to factor in adrenaline rush I received today during Oct. Wait Thread festivities and receiving my score.

My average PT before Oct. was 166, so in line with 5 point drop. Here's to a 171+ come Dec.

it was my first take and i got a 170, same as you. i think it really depends on your GPA and what schools you want + schollies. i'm definitely retaking for my goals, but you could be in a very different situation.

170 for a first take is mega respectable. kudos and here's to a higher score in dec.

i am also considering either the lsattrainer or the manhattan guides for RC/LR. what do you guys think would return the most value for the month left?

ill be supplementing either option with PT after PT of course.
