How much reading/studying do people recommend each day? I initially was going to do about 30 pages a day and spend about a month on the book, but I ended up doing about 70. At this rate I'll be done in a week and a half. Do you think that I am going to fast to retain information?

Btw I feel extremely mentally drained after a study session. It sometimes gets to the point where I miss level 1/2 questions. (I usually never miss those.) Will this subside after a couple of weeks of training my brain? If anyone has any advise it would be very helpful. Thanks!

That's way too fast. If you're only plowing through pages, you're only learning the material but not practicing it. Like in math class, you need to stop after each unit or chapter and practice what you've learned to perfection.

Get the Cambridge packets as they correspond to each chapter. At the end of each chapter, drill the problems in the packets. Go through at least 75% of the questions in each packet, and make sure to blind review them.

The Manhattan books are great, but they're a supplement. They should never be the only thing you use; only bolstering that knowledge with actual practice will help.

For MLSAT LR, I read the chapter, then drilled about 20 problems in addition to the problems at the end of the chapter, so in total, about ~35 questions relevant to the chapter. This is all in the same day. The next day, I re-read the chapter, except this time, taking notes while I read (on a computer). Re-wording things and turning them into notes kind of forces you to understand the material as opposed to passively reading it. Even if you copy the main points verbatim, it acts as a nice review/study guide. After creating the note sheet, I drilled lightly (~15 problems). After this, I moved on to the next chapter, taking note of how I'd done on the problems, so that I could come back and address those problems via drilling after I completed MLSAT LR.

Blind review on PT's is going over every question and double checking your answers before looking at the answer key. I'm blind review over when drilling would mean going over the answer choices and giving a reason as to why said answer choice is right or wrong (eg is it a premise booster, bad logic, or out of scope).
