will my LSAT likely increase?
Yesterday I took the released 2007 LSAT and ended up with a 162. I'll be entering college in the fall I know this isn't close to what I need to get into a top law school, but I figure I'll be vastly more intelligent after 3 years of college and I'll have studied before I take it for real, but realistically what are the chances of it actually increasing? I really want to go to Harvard Law one day (if I could afford it...) so I'm hoping my score will increase by then. Do you guys think that's likely or does the score generally not vary. Sorry for such a novice question but no one in my family has gone to college let alone law school so they have no idea

162 diagnostic is a great starting point. I believe most people who end up in the 170s actually start from late 150s to 160s. My diagnostic was 157 and after 3-4 months of studying I was hitting 170s.
The LSAT is completely learnable, especially if you are getting 162 on the diag. Just keep your GPA up and you'll have a great shot at HYS.

You are an incoming freshman, get off this site and enjoy life. Get good grades, bang some fatties, and relax for 2 years before the lsat even begins to enter your brain.

I agree with what was said above. I took the same test halfway through my freshman year and scored a 154 (cold). I just took the June LSAT and was PTing around 169-172 with a few 174's. A 162 cold test is a great starting place and with enough work and time you can definitely increase it.

When I entered college I thought I knew that I would be a doctor... God, was I wrong. Have fun, and make good grades, worry about the rest of your life Junior year.Prospectivestudent13 wrote:Yesterday I took the released 2007 LSAT and ended up with a 162. Wishing you the best, keep up the hard work and it should go up at least a few points.
