Starting with LG could be really great, or just kill my confidence if I got a curveball of a game. I would love to start with LR.

The most recent RC passages seem much more difficult to me than older ones. I had no problem with old RC sections, but now it is my worst section.

A lot of the RC questions seem designed in a way that they are simply attempting to trick you, which is a bit weird, because I feel like they made the LR so much more straight-forward than it use to be.

Agreed. LG is definitely the least mentally taxing out of the three sections. I like having the little "break" in the middle.

I'm so jealous of all of you that don't live in fear of the LG section!

Trust me, I fear the LG section. It's the one section where I know I have to be great in order to score decent.

But, it also happens to be my best section, and thats probably because I've done over 500 logic games with all the repeats.

I've identified my two biggest weaknesses on the lsat. I suck at finding the required assumption, and I cant differentiate between premises/conclusions to save my life (both LG related obviously). How do you guys recommend I fix this? Im estimating I get these right half the time or less on my LG sections.

Also: anyone take preptest 67 LG section? seemed abnormally easy.

I enjoy watching Malcolm Gladwell give lectures. Anyone know of anything similar? I've watched a few interviews with the Supreme Court Justices as well. Those were cool.

Doesn't have to be law related, but I welcome it.

Weird thing to say but I really liked the RC on PT66. All four were interesting to me, the last one being the least interesting. I got -8 which is "good" for me in RC.

Congrats!!! Keep up the good work! I think RC on PT 71 was my favorite so far. I found all of the passages to be super interesting. Crossing my fingers that they keep it up for 72.

Thanks DD! Me too.

(Btw, I really think that LSAT forums are the BEST forums on TLS because they are so supportive and fairly kind :) )

That was a good talk. Thanks.

On another note

PT 64 game three is an interesting one.

Yup. The Class of/Admissions ones are pretty decent as well.

I have found that I if I pretend to be interested, or at least, find SOME aspect of each passage to be interested by- it makes a definite difference.

I almost said something IRL about riddled basins of attractions to a bunch of randos. So there is that too. GET OUT OF MY LIFE LSAT.

I also think of the LSAT whenever I hear the song from frozen that talks about Fractals.

I liked that RC, too! I also liked that LR question about ninjas from one of the recent PTs.

When you guys are doing the newer 8-page LG sections, do you diagram on the first page and then copy it over to the second or do you just diagram it on the second?

I'm feeling like 8-page set up is costing me some time :(

I do as much of the work on the first page with the setup, as possible.
I'm thinking that this will be more annoying using a PT book versus printed sheets that can easily be shuffled around.

Ya i usually diagram on the first page and do question specific hypos on the second. If its the type of game where hypos upfront can completely solve it then I'll probably do that on the second page where the bulk of the questions are

I can't wait to be done. If I tell my friends, "True it might be necessary, but that is not sufficient," one more time, I might get my ass kicked.

What? Are the sheets not stapled together into a booklet in the actual exam?
