I took my first timed test.

I scored a 150.

LG -6
LR - 11
LR - 10
RC -13

The LSAT just kicked my ass.

Just hang in there. Be strong, do not let God or anybody else tell you that you can't do it, because you can. I got a 147 on one of my first practice tests, though i did skip most of LG, I still bombed the hell out of it. Anyway, I got a 161 on PT 35 Friday and that was a little less than a month ago. Faith, Perseverance, Dedication, Loyalty, Ambition will serve you well young skywalker.

Formal logic was brutal today. Went through the Powerscore LRB chapter on it and really struggled to gain understanding of it.

Anyone conquered formal logic without any real background in it yet?

Remember a couple of pages ago I said doing PTs this early is useless? This is why.

I read the PS rc bible, then 40 individual passages,

then read the MLSAT rc, and did 20 more indiv. passages.

After getting a firm foundation, I decidd to do all the rc sections from 1-40.

I'm on section 23 now. going to finish the rest, and move on to LG or LR.

Great you are putting the work in, but just remember RC sections in the 60s at much different and tougher than those in the 20s and 30s

I'm going to disagree. Taking a PT every two or three weeks in my early studying allowed me to track my progress and stay motivated. Seeing myself improve in drilling wasn't as rewarding as seeing a 3 point increase in my score.

Checking in. I will be taking in June and am starting my prep this week. Hopefully with 10 months of prep I will be able to achieve 170+. The materials I have as of now are the PS LR and LG Bibles, Manhattan LR and LG, and Nova's Master the LSAT. I also have Cambridge 1-38 drilling packets for LR LG and RC. Finally, I have full prep tests 39-68 that I am saving to start in February/March. Good luck to everyone, I am looking forward to keeping up with everyone's progress!

Also checking in... what like 10 months early :D . Anyway I am pretty light on material right now. Just LG bible and Super prep and some practice tests.

Just checking in right now. Working full time and grad school full time, but am trying to develop a plan to hit it as hard as I can. I have all the bibles and all the PTs.

Read the economist and make it your bible. I average 2-4 wrong on 60s rc. On a few 50s rc I have hit the magic zero. Used to be at 13 or so average and then I started reading the economist for structure and analyzing the debate within my head.

So what's your plan to get in study? I have full time work and school too, I am just counting out the minutes where I can get some study in.

Does making the inferences for games get easier? RC and LR are relatively strong for me but games are killing me.

My plan is to focus on each section, one at a time. This way, you can master it and move on to the next.
then pts afterwards.

Agreed. I am hoping to find one hour per weekday, then 2-3 on the weekends, then when I am on break from school, significantly increase the time during those periods. I took the December LSAT and was not pleased at all, so I really have to make a significant jump in June 14. I have all the bibles and all the PTs in a pdf, so I am going to start making my way through the bibles first, then re-evaluate what more materials I need to buy or if I can use the first half of the PTs to drill, then PT the 2nd half of the PTs to fit the real scenario.

Cambridge is good to drill LR. Probably best money I've spent in all of my LSAT prep.
