This is my favorite thread to ever exist. Don't you dare disparage it.

I fixed it. Computer must've autocorrected without me knowing.

Rooting for you OP. Remember what Spivey said in your other thread and study for the LSAT. Looks like you have the materials you need. There are plenty of resources here to help you.

I started the Reading Comprehension Bible today.

I came across on page 13 in the margin what I believe to be some of the most sound advice.

"A positive attitude is perhaps the most underrated factor in LSAT success. Virtually all high-scoring students expect to do well on the LSAT, and this mind set helps them avoid distractions during the exam, and it helps them overcome any adversity they might face."

With your 3.1 youll need to be at or above the median LSAT at T14s to have a decent chance

Lets see what you can do

Probably at or above the 75th percentile LSAT, to be honest.

It's tough out there for a splitter.

So last night I started reading The Paper Chase by John Jay Osborn, Jr.

I like it so far.

I find the writing style to be a little odd. It's entertaining though.

I'm also currently on page 107 of the RC Bible. Need to keep pushing forward!

Definitely an above median LSAT score would greatly increase his chances, but the median is the most important number IMO because that is what gets points in the rankings. A median LSAT is almost definitely necessary but certainly not sufficient. LRod has almost no chance at the T14 if he is below both medians.I bet Vet status and a good app could get him in some places if he hits median, tho.

How does this conflict with what I said? Maybe I misinterpreted your post, but it seems like you're implying that my standard was too low? I'm advocating 25% above the median, minimum. I don't think median will be sufficient at all, given a GPA that is below the 25th percentile at most schools.

I'm off that idea.

I don't have a cutoff. I'll go to UF or FSU if I must...

I'd really like a T14 though.

We agree about what isnt bolded and disagree about what is bolded.

Im giving a median LSAT score more credit than you at NU, GULC, and UVA

With a 170+ you should be able to get a bite from Georgetown, and a 172 may get you into Northwestern.

Btw, FL resident?

That's correct.

I have like 20 schools on my LSAC account that I've picked out. I'll post those soon.

I have an LSAC fee waiver. I'm poor. I'm pretty sure most of the schools waive the application fee.

I've never been interested in Texas.

Florida, California, and the Northeast are pretty much where I see myself.
