Just took PT 50 and got my 2nd 177 in 3 tests, feeling great!

It's weird, when I was taking notes and underlining in RC I was getting -5 or so on RC, and now that I've stopped doing that and just started focusing on understanding the main idea I'm down to around -1. I guess different things just work for different people.

Drilling weaken questions today. It is 71 degrees, I am sitting at a small cafe in the city with a coffee under a canopy, birds chirping, jazz music playing softly, it is wonderful. I studied abroad in Rome and went to dozens and dozens of cafes there and, in my opinion, there is something about this particular spot where I live. It makes me completely at peace.

Plus, Roman cafes suck because you can only be there for a few minutes. Typically, Romans get an expresso, down it at the bar, and leave. I once went to this place called Carnival near Piazza Navona (one of the bigger squares in Rome) and I got dirty looks the ENTIRE time. I just wanted to be like, "No one is here! STOP IT. I am ordering food and drinking coffee."

Image

Anyway, I am going to get off now BUT has anyone started their personal statement? I know it's early but I have had a little bit of inspiration over the last few weeks but I've been jotting down ideas and stuff I want to include.

Was working more on weaken questions yesterday and I sucked. I got about 1/3 of them wrong and my timing and focus was off. I woke up too early yesterday so hopefully that was why. I reconvene today and I hope I will do much better.

Ah yes. Those did not give me as much trouble as I thought they would. If I understood the stimulus, I did reasonably well on them.

Now, I am currently drilling Resolve the Paradox questions. I keep falling for the trap answer that explains one half of the paradox. I have fallen for that trap like 3 times in just level one and two questions! I gotta quit that.

I am also drilling grouping games. Way too slow at those and still miss some inferences. Will take my second PT after drilling (PT 40) in a couple of weeks. Hoping to improve on my 154 in which I went -15 on games because I freaked the hell out.

Keep up the good work, LiveLearnHope and everyone else!

Hey!

Thanks! I disliked must be true questions and they turned out to be fine after I sat down and re-read the chapter couple of times to grasp the material. I did the same for parallel and am hoping for the same result.
