doing this currently, wondering if anyone else has. feel like it will be easier to review when I print these notes out of the main ideas, along with re-reading the chapters when needed

Sure, that is a good idea. Just the act of writing out the notes helps to instill the concepts and ideas better into your mind plus the notes will also be good for review to make sure everything eventually sticks so that you apply the knowledge and skills properly on test day.

I did the same, I felt it helped me. I'd also suggest reading through MLR if you get a chance as well!

Hmm tough to say. I used LRB first, and then later MLR. I preferred MLR, but I was already familiar with the LR section, and it just helped me to fine tune my approach. I think the best thing to do is go through the LRB, see where your LR scores/timing/confidence is at, and if you want to improve take a look at MLR.

I can definitely recommend the MRC though, that book helped me a lot!

Good luck!
