You can probably later confirm whether or not your bad LG was in fact the tested section, unless the LSAC Mafia shuts down TLS for the next few weeks. How soon do you have to notify them of a cancel? I would say cancel, but maybe it's 50/50 - applying with a 160/17x or whatever isn't going to hurt you.

6 days to notify of a cancel. But I'm 99.999% positive my bad section was the real one because in talking to other people who didn't have a LG experimental, it was the one they had.

If you just read the June waiting thread it is confirmed several times. I still have not found out which LR was experimental (I had 3 LR), but I don't actually care because I thought they were all easy and none stood out anyways.

Edit: If you've already taken note of which section EVERYONE had (including those that had only 1 LG), you can up that percentage to 100%. I have seen the thread, and it is accurate about which LG is real.

I would try not to panic and just see how you did.

If you are super sure you screwed up (and not just a panic attack) then do what you have to do, but it's still time and money down the drain. Make sure it's real and not just nerves is my only point to it.

Yeah, when I left the testing center I was definitely in panic attack/probably got a 120 mode, but in thinking realistically, I probably got -5 total on LR, -4 on RC, and then -9 on LG if I guessed right on just one of them. So yeah, still probably a 164/165. Besides my first test that's the lowest I've gotten. I definitely think I should be able to score higher than that.

The question then would be, should I cancel a score of 164/165 and then try again and hopefully get higher, or should I keep my score and then try again and hopefully get higher?
If your "worst case scenario" is still above a 160, I'd let it ride.

Really? I'm just afraid after everything I've read about schools being very negative towards multiple scores. The schools I was *hoping* to apply to/attend were Cornell, Georgetown, UCLA, and USC with Fordham as my backup and with a 165 Fordham would be the only option I have left.
Have you checked what their current lsat policies are?
Some let you keep the most current or highest score (some use an "average")
It varies. Have you asked them what their policies are on it?

All of them say they look at the higher score, Cornell specifically says it looks at the higher score as long as it is 3 points or more higher. I didn't know if that was just what they say, and then they actually look at all scores or something....ugh I don't know.
Most of the T14 do not actually average even if they say that they do. And I wouldnt cancel. I thought I totally screwed logic games when I took but I ended up -3 on it.

If only the highest score matters then canceling would be a bad idea. For all you know on repeat you will do worse (illness, etc)
