My score is plummeting?

Post by fortheshoes » Thu May 16, 2013 10:24 pm

I have been studying for the LSATsince last year (with a four month break). I've got as high as 171, but the last few tests saw me go from 167-165-160-157. What the hell?

Can someone please explain what's going on? I was going to take the test in June, but am now thinking I'm gonna wait until October (after taking a prep course).

Thanks.

I started at 150.
Goal score is 171+.

Take a break. You know the fundamentals. Unless the 171 was lucky (based on your post, it wasn't just lucky), you are going to be okay. But take a break from the studying, rest your mind for a day or two, and come back to it.

And if you do October, don't take a prep course. If you have the motivation to study (based on your post, you absolutely do), it will just frustrate you, and you'll be spending $1000+ for it.

Pick one account and stick to it.
But take a break, decompress, and hit it again full stride. This happens to plenty of people. Your just a little fried and need a break.
