Yeah. I love the Ticon Blacks. Idk why they get some hate on this thread. Maybe because it has the most votes as the favorite one.

Not in October. Potentially in December or February (depends on how my cycle is looking). I think I've forgotten everything though.

Everything except which pencil is the greatest LSAT pencil of all time:

feb??? aren't you applying this cycle though?

I didn't read the whole 38 page topic about #2 pencils, but is the Dixon Ticonderoga yellow any worst than the black one?

HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM??? I really want to get those blue Palomino ones but they don't qualify for free shipping on Amazon. Also, the window to use free shipping on Amazon before the test is rapidly closing :(.

Well, the soft eraser is nice and does not leave any smudges and it is about as smooth as the yellows. My main compliment has to be the sex appeal of using the pencil. The women at my local university have just been eye-banging me and the pencil ever since I started using it.

I was surprised when I learned that Mitsubishi made Cruise Ships, however, I must say I am more surprised they make pencils.

I used my BWs last night for the first time.

I have to say, they didn't sharpen the best. And its not like the pre-sharpened part will last long. (I did sharpen with my electric sharpener, might work better on my manual handheld.)

The ongoing love for black Ticonderogas makes me realize that you all (well, most of you) are a lost cause. I officially wash my hands of this thread.

A.) I can't believe this thread is serious (or that some people in here are serious).
B.) I can't believe this thread is still going.

If you're not retaking, get out! I'm ready to hit that 17X with my Tri-Conderogas. Until Palo's come in tri-form, I'm not interested at that price point.

I have converted to the cult of black ticos.

PROS:
- the eraser is seriously the best eraser I've ever used and I regularily draw with those fancy graphite pencils.
- the graphite is as smooth as the fancy graphite pencils mentioned above, if not smoother. If feels much more like a 2B pencil, to the point that I've checked the pencils like three times.
- the Miranos lost their tip after like three questions and remained very hard. Also they got gray dust everywhere after the first write. This does not happen with the black ticos.
- hexogonal
- I've heard the smell when you sharpen them is like an eighth of an orgasm.

CONS:
- none

I also got my 180Watch in the mail. It's pretty spiffy. It is very easy to read and I am like one step above illiteracy.

I also grabbed two Blackwings. I tried both the Blackwing and the Blackwing 602, and ultimately went with the regular Blackwing because it is softer, and I tend to like a softer lead. Plus, they look sexier. But all I have done with those is sharpen them, so I can't exactly review them now.

Some people somewhere asked about the difference between yellow ticos and black ticos. The eraser on the yellow is WAY more similar to the Miranos (it is rough), while the eraser on the black ticos is nice and smooth. I also think the yellow ticos are more variable. This one I'm testing is pretty good--nice, dark, smooth that's what she said--but on others, they have been very light. I personally have noticed my yellow ticos seem to break frequently. Also they don't smell nearly as good as black ticos.

TL;DR: THE ORDER (of pencils I have tried):
1.) Black ticos
2.) Yellow ticos
17.) Mirano warriors

With the BW not reviewed yet.

A TRUER STATEMENT HAS NEVER BEEN MADE.

Now I need to figure out what to do with 24 Mirano warriors.

I've been using cheap semi-sharpened, even occasionally flat pencils for PTing and enough's enough. I'm ordering black ticonderogas.

Hi guys, kind of a stupid question but are there any pencils that write similar to pens? I just hate using pencils and the way they write. I've got a pack of the black ticonderogas and they have a decent feel to them but I always end up reaching back for my pen when PTing.
