They are hexagonal. I bought them in a stationary store in northern Europe.
I believe the core is dragonheartstring, but I could be mistaken. I took one out of the book to write with before I bought them and could feel that they were the "write" ones for me. The pencil chooses the writer, if you ask me.

I ordered it with just the $2 postal shipping, so it only came out to $10 total. I figured two months will be more than enough time for them to arrive and potentially fall in love with one. Yeah I was about to buy these, really good deal. But shipping is a bitch so decided not to. Post a review though, may change my mind.

Nah I'm not feeling the tri writes. I've given em a shot but they haven't won me over. I'm a big fan of the tri-writes. With the way with people talk about the Ticonderogas, I'm starting to get pretty excited for my tri-conderogas to arrive in the mail.
