I was sharpening ferociously and broke a piece of my Ticonderoga #2 Black pencil, and it still works like a boss

Either next-level nerdy or next-level trolling. Can't tell which.

I had a Mirado Black Warrior primed and ready to go on gameday. I had practiced with it several times on games, pretty much whipping their ass everytime. But then on test day, I didn't want to be over-confident, so I just left it on the table with my other yellow Ticonderogas. I hope it didn't intimidate my neighbors too much.

These are really good if you are into environmental preservation. They are made from old tires.

Black Ticonderogas are the best and have awesome erasers, but.. you can't beat the Mirado Black Warrior, it's name alone inspires confidence.

Yo Pencil Connoisseurs - what's the difference between Dixon Ticonderoga and Dixon TRI conderoga? Is one better than the other?

The Dixon TRI conderoga, at least for me, is less comfortable to hold. It has three sides instead of 6 sides the Dixon Ticonderoga has. MOreover, it has weird grip. The outer layer is made of different material than regular wooden pencils.

In short, I don't like the TRI conderoga because of the (1) structure of the pencil (2) type of pencil cover

That's fucking awesome. The original eraser sucks ass. Why didn't I think of that? Lol.

Don't forget the selling point of the Tri's, they're designed to not roll, won't fall off your desk.

I'm strongly considering procuring one, to see if I like it. I do fear the triangle grip will be uncomfortable.

Thank you for your pencil expertise and advice.

I'm not saying that a great sword will make a samurai great in combat.

What I'm trying to articulate is that a great samurai will be better off in combat with a great sword, instead of mediocre sword.

A sword is directly related to how a samurai kills people and defends himself (combat). A good samurai with a bad sword, or even mediocre, will do poorly in combat and die. A 180er is not going to get a 160 because of the pencil he uses. He could use crayon and still perform just as well, assuming crayon was allowed.
