Buy a lot of official LSATs. Some of them come in packs of 10, but you'll have buy the recent ones individually. Only use official LSATs. You can get them on amazon. Good luck.

I just posted a similar question, how did you study the MLSAT books? Did you use one book at a time? Or do a chapter and move to the next book? Or study one book a week, moving to the next book etc?

It's entirely up to you. I'm on the Manhattan books now, but with Powerscore, I did LG first, then finished the other two.

When you register your book on our site, you get access to a lot of online resources, including a syllabus you can use to structure your prep. PM me if you have any trouble doing that.

Just so it's said, that's a LONG time to study for the LSAT. At least 3x the recommended amount of time. Have you taken a diagnostic yet to see how far you are from that 170?

I did about a year ago and was somewhere in the low 150s. LG was hardest for me by far

That was and is the only exposure that I've had to any LSAT type questions; I just took the test and that was it.

Would you recommend OP to study for this year's October LSAT?

(2013 June is 2 soon)

I wouldn't say June is too soon with a solid study schedule. Though since the OP is obviously planning to stick it out for the long haul of studying, October would be a good option. OP, if you go that route, definitely, DEFINITELY create a study plan that takes that length of time into consideration so you don't end up running out of materials in July or losing your mind in June.

Caffeine. Possibly nicotine. Some bubble sheets. A stopwatch is also nice to have.

Here's a link to a free bubble sheet. Got this from "gaud". Scroll down to page 32.
