Has anyone taken Kaplan in Manhattan?
Through my internship, I was offered a free KAPLAN LSAT course in Manhattan.
Albeit its a consensus on TLS forum that Kaplan is a total waste of time/not on par with other courses, I will be still taking it only because its free...
For those of you who has taken Kaplan in Manhattan, which site is better? The medical center one by 56th St or the downtown one by Cooper Square. If you could also recommend me which teacher from which location is good, that would be awesome too.

While I agree, OP can at least get the books if the course is free.nmop_apisdn wrote:You should look into Manhattan in Manhattan.

Re: Has anyone taken Kaplan in Manhattan?
Yea, Manhattan LSAT is right infront of my internship so I visited them couple of days ago. People there were pretty cool, the LSAT office seemed pretty upscale. It seems like general LSAT courses in Manhattan ranges around $1400-$1800. Alas, I don't think I can afford it... However, What I've been doing is I've been strictly following LSATBlog's 7month day to day schedule with LG/LR PS Bibles on my own. I am just finishing up 4th week, which covered only the LG section. But because I was so frustrated with PS Bible's method of pure sequencing and in-n-out, I ordered 3 set Manhattan LSAT books yesterday.gaud wrote:While I agree, OP can at least get the books if the course is free.nmop_apisdn wrote:You should look into Manhattan in Manhattan.
But is Kaplan that bad? -.-;; To the point where only the books are worth the free-price?? I guess I will still take the Kaplan course for free books/cards, and if its not worth my time I will withdraw from it.

You should self-study using the book series written by Manhattan.

Get the materials from Kaplan, print out/save every single LSAT past 20, and GTFO. The materials are the only legit part of a Kaplan course (books separate/categorize questions). Otherwise, I truly believe your time is better spent with a far more superior method, such as Manhattan. Manhattan>PS>PR>Velocity>...>Kaplan

And no, I don't work for MH. I read PS Bibles, took a Kaplan course (for a little), and finished with the MH series.
