I always thought it was better to time full sections because then you can see that the first two games can be done under the 8 minutes so you can bank time for the last two. Just keep drilling - it'll come young grasshopper.

Also, are you making tons of deductions up front? I found that making as many deductions as I possibly could with my master sketch really saved time weeding through the questions.
I'm getting better at deductions, but the difficulty seems to come when a new scenario is given like if G is fourth then H must be... I make as many deductions as possible when these types of questions arise, but I often need to work out several scenarios before I come to the right answer which inevitable takes up a lot of time. I know come test day I won't have the luxury of 10 min. for an ordering game. Any suggestions? or do you think if I just keep practicing it will get faster?

If a question starts with "If," that usually means you'll have to make a new drawing with the changed rule. It's a hassle, but if you make proper deductions up front, it'll save you time with other questions so you can have time to draw a new sketch out.

Haven't taken the LSAT since June 2012. Haven't looked at any LSAT materials since then. Hoping to get back into studying again soon and try to improve my 167 to 170+. Kinda nervous since I've been away from the game for so long that I'll have difficulty getting back just to where I was.

Jealous. I've yet to break 165. I feel like I'm in a LSAT slump.

Hey guys, I'm checking in as well~
I half-heartedly studied for 1,2 months last summer on my own with LG/LR Bibles, and I decided to get real and started self-studying since this mid January. I just finished 4 weeks of LG part of LSAT blogs 7month plan with PS LG Bible, I feel alrite but LG games still not clicking with me. I just got Manhattan's 3 book set, and I am just starting fresh from relative ordering and drilling games from 7month plan.

My plan is to really get it down and bang it out in one shot, and yes a lot of friends in law school (T6 kids... sigh) have been telling me I need to have THE T-6 or bust mindset. The grim reality of legal market/profession and the overrated value of legal education became more real as I talked to them. So my plan is to study as much as possible and hit the goal of 167+, which would put me in CCN's GPA 75th percentile and 25 percentile/median range of LSAT. I would love to go to NYU or UChicago haha LEGGO

Continuing my drill on LR. Feeling a little better about it. Principle questions are definitely my strongest - not very good at flaw, but getting better.

You're great a logic games, I suck at LG. You're weak in flaw, I'm great at flaw. If we could combine our brains we would be in the 180 range. If only it was that easy...

Hey I'm starting to study for a retake in June, maybe October. I took the December LSAT and got 159. Hopefully I can do better!

Welcome blue bean. Good luck ;)

Working on flaw again today. I'm thinking I may need to do a PT but I keep drilling question types.

Well for your sake I hope you crush it in June.

Did three timed sections of LR today. -4, -7, -3. I've never had below a -5 so I'm super excited about it, even with the stupid -7 thrown in there.

Gonna go ahead and preemptively check into this thread with you all. :)

I also checked into the June re-takers thread, but recent life stuff is making me think I won't even be close to ready come June.

167 on the October 2012 test, looking for 171+ next time around.

Lets do this.

Is it best to go over the review book one day, and just drill the next, or a mix of the two everyday?

Tagging this for future reference. I don't know how this cycle will shake out and if I can get meaningful employment for the year.

smh, Just took a cold-diagnostic test with Kaplan and I got 145. Nailed the logic games, but 37% correct on LR.
This is motivating me so much right now, lol

My diagnostic was 149. It really doesn't matter, tbh. It's all about studying :)
