anyone else feel like their proctors were TRYING to troll them?

Oct 2012: rough looking dude walking up and down aisles noisily during the test, being a general nuisance. Told me to take my sweater off (in a fairly cold room) for no reason. had a cell phone on him that starting ringing during a section. At one point he was about a foot away from my head directly behind me (I swear I could smell his breath) staring at my shit.

Dec 2012: proctors are generally very old, shady looking women. One of them sits behind me (about 6 feet away) and during an an ENTIRE section I hear her crackling what sounds like a plastic candy wrapper in her hands.

I look back and she's got the crazy eye:

Did you take your test at a law school? Normally I find that proctors at the law schools don't give you BS because they've been through this so many times. However, I do realize that no everyone has the luxury of having a law school near where they are.

I took mine at my UG and one of the proctors was a younger looking kid, but he was dressed in a suit. There was one older woman who was the main proctor in our room and then two younger kids. And one of them was in a suit. He looked like a douche.

My proctors were pretty awesome. I almost went over to tell thanks for not screwing everything up. The ring leader of the proctor trio was an older guy who liked to tell jokes and make wise cracks about people who were lagging behind everyone else during the break or leading up to the test (everyone was back in the room with 5 mins left to the break and well before the start of the test besides 1 person). I expected to be very distracted by them but they were pretty discrete about walking around. It did make me look at my section and double check I wasn't doing anything wrong every time they approached, though. Also my testing room was pretty nice, plenty of desk space.

Took it at a major university and the proctors were fine. They all seemed to be work study students from university testing. The main proctor apologized there were no lockers for us like there were at other test locations. She offered cell phone "amnesty" before the test started "because I know some of you need to call for rides" (proctors held powered off phones for you). None of them were super familiar with the LSAT but they were very good at being really quiet as they walked around.

June 2012: Before our test the proctors handed out the writing prompts (they're supposed to do that after the test is completed). I had zoned out at that point and when they handed me a slip of paper I was like "what the hell's this" and picked it up. Saw "Writing Prompt" at the top in big bold letters and put it back down immediately. Proctor came over and got a ridiculous attitude with me as I was apologizing, went on a bit of a power trip saying things like "I could kick you out for this, you know." Scared the shit out of me.
