Here is my situation
Undergraduate (2nd year sophomore, but junior by credits) who will have exactly 69 credits at the end of this semester (Fall 2012) and aiming to have 87 credits completed by the end of winter 2013. So, i have the intentions to graduate early by June of 2014 and hopefully start law school in the Fall of 2014.

SCHOOL: Nova Southeastern University
GPA = 3.95
SOFTS: member of Pakistan student association, member of international Muslim association at nova and paid internship that earns me 3 credits.
PROJECTED LSAT: 155-160 But hopefully better
GOAL: TOP 50 LAW SCHOOL

Does my situation put me in the situation to take the LSAT in June 2013 or September?

I have started prepping and plan on taking in june 2013. But before I decide to take in june, are there any pros or cons I should know about? If I do not feel ready, i would take it in september. Any advice is appreciated.
Right now, I am scoring in the 150 range on LSATS

ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATED! :)

You've got the right idea. No rush, take it when your ready. But please dear lord.... set "loftier" goals for yourself. I use the quotes b/c with the legal market today, I don't think any caliber law school is too lofty - in full disclosure, i am not a HYS or bust type of guy, but homieeee with a 3.95 you should not settle for anything less than t6ish, lower t14 w/ scholarship, or full ride to t30.

Grind those practice tests - you've got nothing but time

I see exactly what you are saying, yes i know that the GPA is good, but I am only really good in classes, I am not much of a standardized test taker. believe it or not, but my weakest section is RC

I would take June before the september you plan on applying. traditionally this means June of Junior year (aka between junior and senior year) and apply septermber-december of your Senior year. Taking June lets you take Oct, and even Dec, if need be.

I used to think of myself as a bad standardized test taker as well. I scored a 160 in June, 169 in October. You can definitely score above your goals if you put the time and effort in. You should maximize your score, it'll pay off. If you hit your goal you're looking at barely getting into a school like Baylor. But by just raising it a little, you can get money! It's worth it! I just got a full ride from Baylor because I sImply studied for a test for a few months. You can do it too! Good luck

Pakistani and muslim, you say? How did you convince your parents out of becoming a Doctor/Engineer? lol

joking aside, June 2013 is the way to go, and with a killer GPA like yours, don't let yourself get anything under a 170. work hard and keep at it.

thanks for the extra motivation! I really appreciate it.

and yeah a lot of my 'brown' friends ask me the same question: Why are you not a bio major? I've got cool supportive parents who would have supported me even if i were to become a garbage man. Ok, maybe not. lol
