For the last month or so mine have been. Each one timed with an RC experimental.

Feel like I should still bring a watch but I have a feeling ill constantly keep checking.

I had that same experience a while back. I try to only look up when I reach a significant point (end of second passage or game or question 15 or 20 of LR) and it has actually helped me speed up and feel less rushed at the same time.

It's comforting that everyone thought that RC on 67 was awful. The !Kung article tripped me up a bit for a second but overall I still didn't fair all that badly. I'm excited to drill LG into the ground tomorrow though!

As for test 68, it was tame in RC and LG, but followed this strategy for LR: The usual breakdown of question difficulty on LR is 10 "easy", 10 medium, and 5-6 hard, scattered randomly, but in succession usually. PT 68 instead decided to give us 15 easy questions and 10-11 hard ones. I don't appreciate that lol, primarily because I see the medium questions as easy anyway.

I'm preparing for the worst, but I hope June is nothing like these two tests.

June is a new LSAT season, so maybe that leads to new/different things.

Can someone critique my game plan for the next 3 days... let me know what you think about it, i.e. too much work, not enough work, should focus on drilling more, etc

I think i may have stacked saturday a little too much. Which of those things should I get rid of and which should I definitely do?

Edit Added: I dont want to be burned out come Monday, and maybe me not doing these PT's or extra sections may actually benefit me more, and I should just do good a review of past PT's. And that way if i retake in October ill have 1 test i have never taken before.lol

The LG packets are all of the games from pt's 60-68 that i got -1 or more on while drilling today , I have printed them out and made 3 packets of 6 games each.

Edited to add a second alternative -- Which schedule would you follow?

Saturday – Read LSAT Trainer chapters on RC Comparative Passages, Redo PT 64 RC Passage 3, Redo PT 64 LR2, PT 66 – Break – Review PT 66 LR/ LG/ RC, PT 62 LR2, Review PT62 LR2 – Break – LG game packets after watching 7sage videos.

Saturday – Read LSAT Trainer chapters on RC Comparative Passages, Redo PT 64 RC Passage 3, Redo PT 64 LR2, Review PT 64 In depth, LG game packets after watching 7sage videos.

Sunday – Redo PT 68 untimed and slowly, by deliberately picking each answer and stating why, for every section; PT62 RC, redo LG game packets.

Monday –
9:00am – wake up and do LG PT 66
9:45am – go get breakfast (bagel and cream cheese)
10:00am – get Starbucks regular drink at Starbucks by Test Center
10:20am – 11:20am – review PT 68
11:20 – 12:20pm – do 3 hardest games from packets, do ~1-5 & ~14-18 of LR from PT 64 LR1
12:20pm – chug half of my energy drink (if I have dropped a deuce already, hopefully I will have)
12:30pm – walk in to murder PT69

PT 67, 180!!! (First take of this PT.)

LR 1: -0
LR 2: -0
LG: -0
RC: -1

I am thrilled to score this so close to the exam! What a confidence boost, and confidence is what I need more than anything coming so close to Monday.

This looks like way too much to me. I'd cut back on Sunday and take it as a day to relax. I would also definitely not do the hardest logic games right before the exam. I would probably even cut back some on Saturday.

Thanks for the insight, but how would you cut back on sunday/ saturday? I don't want to get dull on sections by not working them at all...

Eat a better breakfast than bagel and cream cheese.

Unless that's what you're already used to eating, but it is a shitty breakfast.

I would go with a timed 5-section PT on Saturday, plus maybe another section and reading, and then Sunday do no more than review the PT and another 2 sections?

Personally, I've been taking it fairly easy the past few days, so I'm going to do a 5 section PT, review, and another practice section or two that gave me trouble in the past.

I plan on having eggs and oatmeal, but that is what I typically eat for breakfast so.

Basically, don't deviate from normalcy. Do exactly what you would do for any other day.

If that is bagel and cream cheese, then bagel and cream cheese is great.

But don't go undereating or overeating for some odd reason.

Yeah I normally have just oatmeal, sometimes to bowls. But I really think I need the protein of eggs. I'll only scramble two.

I think I'm gonna go with the following because A) It leaves me with PT 66 to have in my pocket incase I'm retaking in October, B) I think I can benefit more from reviewing PT 64 extremely thoroughly rather than just take PT 66 to get a score, C) It should prevent any burn out type of situation, while still allowing me to benefit from it. Also, on Sunday I got rid of redo PT68 (I have redone it once already before) and picked my 4 worst LR/ RC sections + LG games, to stay sharp

Saturday - Read LSAT Trainer chapters on RC Comparative Passages, Redo PT 64 RC Passage 3, Review PT 64 very thoroughly, LG game packets after watching 7sage videos.

Sunday – Redo PT 64 LR2, Redo PT 65 LR2, Redo PT 65 RC, Redo PT 67 RC, Redo LG game packets.

How does this look?

What are the general schools of thought on the week leading up to the test? This week, I've only done light studying (by light, I meant like a section per day after work). When I started re-studying in March after a failed attempt to test in Feb, I felt like I was making good progress when I made sure to study, but I also didn't hesitate to take a night off to just relax and watch TV. That's when I made the most progress (un-timed best of around 161 to 170 during that point. My theory is that I was allowing my body and brain to learn and recover without stressing too much. So, I tried to replicate that this week.

Was that stupid of me? In the questions I've done, I haven't noticed any back-slide. On the other hand, maybe my stamina has suffered. In any case, too late to fix it now. How does my weekend plan look?

Tonight: drill an RC section and review....post more on TLS....
Saturday: PT 61 (last recent PT I have)
Sunday: Exercise, relax, do some VERY minor drilling - a few questions here and there to stay fresh - and watch the Spurs go up 2-0
Monday: Get a full night's rest, eat breakfast, do a few questions, drive to the test center, do another few questions, and take my first and hopefully only LSAT.

Keep in mind my last four PT's have averaged 165/166. I'm hoping for about 167 on the real deal.

Will the S.M. C.C. shooting effect other C.C in California?

If you are taking the test in a community college in california but not Santa Monica, will this do anything for the test on Monday? There is no way that these community colleges relocate the test or whatever else. RIP to the six dead.

This. I'm starting to think I hang out with idiots. Everyone I know that is going to law school is impressed that I got a 162 and got into Notre Dame. It's like, "WOW. A T-25!"

Unfortunately most of these people will be under life-crushing debt with terrible job prospects in a few years.

Only worse than talking to friends about law school is talking to your university's pre law advisor. My advisor tried getting me to go to John Marshall here in Chicago. Spent my first year and a half building this school up and had me wanting to go there. Then I started to research law schools and where I want to go and how john Marshall compares to other Chicago law schools.

Haven't gone back to see him since. Also found out my school has an agreement with john Marshall of some sorts. Lol what a joke.

Friends and other people are also bad. They think getting into any law school is impossible and as long as you go to any law school you'll be fine.

Sounds like my mom. She's been told by friends/acquaintances with some sort of connection to the legal field that it doesn't really matter where you go, just go somewhere in a region/state where you want to practice. Most of these people also have connections (family member, etc.) to TTT type schools....go figure.

May be some truth the location aspect, but I have to constantly remind her of employment statistics.....

While location does help, a university counselor shouldn't be pushing you to go to the worst ranked school in the city. Thats why I'll never go see him again. He would tell me how well John Marshall is known in the city and how their graduates easily find jobs...

Then I did some research: http://imgur.com/k3VP5Kk.png

Lol

Having connections must be nice.
