I'll be busy most of the weekend, PM me with PT 50 questions, if you have them and want a second take. I'll be free to review this Friday morning, and Sunday evening. I suggest we do Sunday evening since that seems to work for most people.

Depends on a lot of things.

How many hours can you devote to studying a week?
Have you taken this test before or is it your first time?
If retake, do you have a solid idea of where your weaknesses are?
Do you have your prep materials already? Have you taken a PT yet?
Agreed. Would also add if you have a goal, and how far away you are from that goal.

Most LSAT test takers take 3.5 months or less to study for this (courses at most are 15 weeks, etc.). It's definitely doable. But depends what you're looking for. As Rebex said, take a PT and then evaluate what you want. There are very few disadvantages of taking in October in terms of admission to law schools if you have your application ready to go. But you also don't get the potential retake until December if you don't score where you want to....

You realize that u are talking about people who don`t work and do only Lsat, unfortunately most people work and study ,that takes longer if they wanna score above 170 ,and most lsat takers don`t care which school they go,so they take the score they get and move .Its like there are so many litigation attorneys out there who don`t do a shit ,but they are ``attorneys`` and there are so few smart attorneys from the top ten who are very successful.
180.

Re: stamina, idk I just do. I mix it in with school work as well though. But now I know my limit.

Yesterday I was at school all day, then went to Muay Thai, played basketball for almost 2 hours, came home and cleaned, then studied/did LSAT for 6 hours. By hour 6 my brain was mush. My body was just totally over exerted.

Re: House of Cards I saw the first episode. This is dangerous. After realizing how much I dig Archer I was hooked for a week until I was all caught up. I need to space out HoC or else I'll become totally unproductive lol
Six hours is a heck of a lot of LSAT. For more than you'll ever need to do. At that point, I'd be making silly mistakes from fatigue and just frustrate myself. If your schedule works for it, LSAT followed by workout is a great combination.

Oookay then. In other news, quick question about a few strengthen questions. Let's say I I have X making an argument, and then Y responding. If the prompt says "which of the following, if true, most strengthens X's argument..." do y'all essentially ignore anything that Y said?

No, sometimes the credited answer will strengthen X's argument by weakening Y's argument.

Always read both. The amount of time saved by reading one of the two arguments is negligible and not worth the possibility of getting the question wrong if the correct answer hinges on something the second person said. Assuming by "ignore anything Y said" you mean skipping Ys argument entirely.

Blueprint LG Book

I'm not saying anything except that I am going to look into it. If not free then I won't use it, not because of money, just because of time. But for those of you who have done PS and MLG, this might not be a bad idea to run through over a weekend.

Checking in. I started studying over a month ago to take the LSAT for the third time in June. This test has been in my life for almost a full year.

June 2012: 161
October 2012: 165
June 2013: 172++

Hi All,

Now checking in. Was scheduled to sit Feb LSAT, traveled from the Caribbean to New York but the center was closed due to adverse weather conditions. Decided not to sit the make up test the following Saturday because I was not fully prepared.

I was scoring horribly on my practice exams but I realize it was due to fatigue! I work full time at a Big Four Accounting Firm.

Read all the Powerscore books, ordering the Manhattan books this weekend. Gonna start back studying from tonight.

Good Luck to everyone!

Slow day at work, going to take a long break and embark on PT 50 (four sections, break after 3, with bubble sheets). See y'all on the other side :)
