LR 1 -8

Score: 156.

I couldn't focus for the entire test, it was so weird. My mind was everywhere except where I needed it.

I will be reviewing hardcore tomorrow, analyzing every single mistake.

I am embarrassed by this PT, determined to not let it happen again.
Don't sweat it. Mistakes are a good thing, they're an opportunity to get better. As a side note, when's the last time you took a break from the LSAT? And times when you're too busy to study, and as a result get anxious over not studying don't count. Might be time to. You'd be surprised how good you feel after a few days of lifting, basketball, movies, and drinking with friends.

I went 3/6 on the bird game.

I get so anxious every time I take a day off (and then it turns into a review day) and this score certainly won't help.

Ugh.

I know how you feel a little bit. Whenever I take a day off and glance at my countdown app, I get a little panicky. That said, it might help to, if not take the day off, do something unrelated to PTs. Drill sections (whichever is your strong point) or read the Bibles in an area of weakness.

Hey no worries, you've got this. There is quite literally nothing that some hard work and refocusing can't fix on the LSAT. Scoring in the 150's is sure to be rough but if you don't take care of yourself you can take care of this test.

I'm getting a complex thinking about it... was the 165 a freak occurance and I am just not as good at the LSAT as I thought?

Don't think about all that. You got a 165 fair and square.

Your mistakes are a resource, and capitalizing on that resource is the whole point of studying.

With posters like you all, I would say this may make a run at the best Study Group thread to ever grace TLS.

Ok so today I did my first timed section on PT 36. I did LG and 2 LRs back to back then later took RC
LG -0 27 min I did two of the games before, game 1 and game 2.
LR1 -1 37min #22 stupid mistake
LR2 -2 37 min or so, #17 #22
Couple hours later took the RC
RC -3 35 min #17 #22 #24 feel rushed didn't have enough time for the last passage.

Raw score 96/101, 175

Consider this is my first timed section, I am really happy to see a mid-170.

But I think this is an inflated score since I have done some LR and LG questions before. But I am pretty happy with my RC.

Definitely a solid group. If any of the regulars are planning to visit Charlottesville in the fall, around the second week of September, hit me up. Drinks on me.

PT39 -

LG: -0 - 26min
LR1: -3 - 31min
RC: -1 - 35min
LR2: -3 - 33min

Raw score: 94
Reported: 175

Absolutely stoked. I think I've seen 2 of the LG games before but to be honest I've done so much LG at this point that every game is starting to look the same. Grouping, sequencing, linear - as soon as I recognize a variable set pattern I just go into autobot mode, diagram, and attack so I don't think this skewed my score.

172+ is my goal so it seems like I'm on my way I guess.

Gotta keep working and get that LR down though. I think I can do better than -3 considering I haven't touched any LR or RC prep material yet, only LG.

Best of luck everybody, keep it up so we can kill this in a few months.

Congratulations!

26 Minutes on LG, that may be the most impressive part!

Thanks bro but it wouldn't be so impressive if you've been my friends or gf for the last 2 months. I've lived, eaten, and breathed LG. Every kind, every test, Velocity and LGB from front to back twice, disseminating exactly what inferences this test wants. It's kind of pathetic actually lol

I'm done reviewing PT 51. Now I'll do a few old games and dig deep into LR and RC over the next few days. What I really mean is that I'm going to be bored this week, so post things you want a second opinion on, LG, LR, RC, hell I'd even look at a writing sample if it stumps you. Hit me.

You all are definitely incredibly advanced and impressive...I'm just trying to shoot for a 160-165. I don't think I can clock higher than 155 right now.

I'm still a few weeks away before PTing with you all. Hopefully around March 18.

I just started reviewing the LR and RC Manhattan guides...definitely helping.

Props to everyone's dedication.

Reviewing past PT's LR and LG sections and going over missed questions. This week is dedicated to tightening LR and LG before I tackle PT 51 later this week; I'm thinking Thurs or Friday. I really want to be over 170 by the end of March at the latest. Here's to hoping that gets accomplished. This thread is definitely a dedicated group of people that are striving for nothing short of what they deserve. Keep working hard everyone. We got this
