Zones I'm sure I got them all wrong and I let that game bother me well into the last section (games was fourth for me) and I felt like I was on autopilot, when that happens that's usually not good for me.

Pessimistic: 165

I got a 164 in June, but my PT avg. for this take was 171, I had no problems with zones and I finished one LR section with time to go back and review some questions I had trouble with. However, I didn't get to 2 questions in RC and the second LR so I guessed. So that leaves me with 4 guesses, and I also circled 11 others throughout the exam that I thought were challenging making a total of 15 questions that are 50/50 or worse. Hoping for a nice curve.

Guessed on half of the questions on 1st and 4th games. felt decent about the lr, but rc had some really tricky questions. It would take a miracle to break that 170.

I still feel like a -2 or less total is highly realistic in LR, outright guessed on 1 in LG, and didn't prove without certainty about 3 or 4 in that section (though most of those I felt quite strongly about), and RC is where I feel like I could go anywhere from -2/3 to -5/6. Throw in a few of the LR where I could be overconfident, and I could be looking at -15, which would hopefully be around 167. I could also be looking at -0 in LR optimistically, -1/2 in LG and -3 in RC which would look happily like a 175ish.

June 2012: 168
optimistic: 177
realistic: 172
pessimistic: 171

I'll be very disappointed with anything below 173, but it looks like I'll be applying for next cycle instead at this point, so I may take it again next year if needed... We'll see! I really felt like I crushed the test (whereas in June I was more hoping I did), but the silly mistakes tend to haunt me. I don't think I made any (who ever does?) but I may well have... 4pm EST I'm anticipating/expecting to have my score!

If you're referring to the October LSAT, you may need to take a glance at the score cancellation process. Namely, the fact that you can't cancel it at this point.

This might be an odd place for a dedicated lurker to jump in but I've been mulling the topic and unable to respond to myself with conviction. Perhaps posting to a public space will force me to wrap my mind around it? (Like those forums where folks post their weigh-ins to commit themselves to weight loss.)

Optimistic - 173 or higher
Realistic - 167 - 172
Pessimistic - 166 or less

Was PT'ing at 175 average, with minimum at 169 and maximum at 180, but on the real thing --

guessed on all but one question on the zones...

Wait, you had to guess on pretty much every question for one of the games and you still think realistically you got a 169? That seems optimistic to me, but good luck. I didn't take this administration of the test--perhaps this was the last game and you were running out of time? I understand this may have been the hardest game, but if you were really guessing on pretty much all the questions for it (and it wasn't just a time issue) I would honestly be pretty surprised if you manage a 169, unless maybe the curve is pretty generous. Not in a position to judge though; games, from start to finish, were my weak point and downfall when I took the test.

Had no problems at all with any section besides the games. Choked fairly hard on game 2 even though in retrospect it was quite easy (was really nervous and wanted to get to the zones), but felt like I nailed games 1 and 3. Was PTing in the mid 170s fairly consistently leading up to the test, but again this was with getting no more than -2 on nearly every LG section. Fairly certain I got at least minus -7 or -8 on it. Maybe pick up -6 total in the other 3 sections if I'm lucky. Could have fallen for a lot of traps (fairly certain I avoided most of them but you never know) and gotten like -15+.

Not really too invested in the score at this point. The more I read about law school the less I want to go.

I think I went around -15, so if the curve is -12 approx. I could maybe pull that 167/168
