Yeah, they don't even give us the scale or our raw score. It's incredibly annoying, and I really can't fathom why they do that. Totally understand why they don't release the questions, but the scale too? Ridiculous.
Agreed. Can't imagine why they wouldn't give us our raw scores.. Ugh, that is going to kill me. Guess I'll just refer to the lsatqa.com charts and infer what I will.

PT 62 RC -7

missed 5 on the 3rd passage even though i understood it, was very shocked

im coming to realize that LR is a beast compared to RC and LG

for RC and LG, u need to master a few skills, as opposed to a dozen for LR

still, u can screw up 1 question on LR and no big deal, but screw up 1 game or 1 reading passage, and game over

quite paradoxical

Does anyone else find 40's LG's to be quite easy? I really wish the current LG were that level of difficulty.

Oh, I meant LG's in 40-49, not just 40. But appreciate the response anyway. I'll look forward to doing PT 40's LG's :)

How much is everyone studying at this point? I'm doing 25 hours a week or so and feel like I should be doing a lot more...

You're doing more than me, albeit I am a retaker. I do about 18-20.

For me too!

We should PM tmrw about missed LR/RC questions after testing (haha)

I write out my thought process, why it was wrong, and why the right answer is right for every question. I think the right helps me absorb the thought process, but maybe its just a placebo... What do you all do when reviewing PTs?

I'm afraid of not finishing the LSATs I have remaining by the test. I expect that I will need to retake in June, so maybe that is a good thing, but still, it's kind of annoying.

I kind of become an instructor. I re-read the question and explain the logic as if I was teaching someone and then look for the answer. I never write down the answer next to the question if I get it wrong. I make sure to go back and answer it. I also note what type of question it was.

Took PT 55 today... 90/100, 169.

Really mad that my scores fluctuate so wildly-- between 169 and 178.

-0 LG
-5 RC
-5 Combined LR

Pretty obvious where I need to work, but gains are slow......

Bolded is a great point that I should clarify: I do all of my writing in a separate "LSAT Spiral" - just a spiral notebook, with each page dedicated to one section of one PT I have taken with these reviews.

-1 on PT 56 LG. This is huge for me! It felt like a slightly below average difficulty LG section, granted, but certainly not a gimme or anything. Does anyone else have an opinion on the difficulty of 56's games?

Economist certainly might help. I think popular science articles might be even better, though, since science passages tend to be the hardest. Academic science articles too. Def going to look into it because I am shooting for -0 on RC and I will need it badly to get a 175+.

Did four logic games after work tonight and went 21 for 21, all of which were finished in 4:50 to 8:30. I know, its not a big deal to most on this board. But, up until the last couple days, it was a struggle to finish ANY of the games in less than 10ish minutes and, even then, getting all correct answers was rare. So, to finish 4 in a row and get every question correct in less than 8:45 was a big confidence booster, even if those games weren't all that difficult.

Improvement IS possible! Now back to drilling ....

EDIT: Make that 33/33 over six games tonight. Didn't do the last two quickly enough, but it's progress nonetheless.

It feels awesome. Congrats. Did 56 and 59's LG's tonight and missed a combined 3, which has been unheard of for me previously. Gonna drill till I drop till test day, see if I can't get very good at these things.

Super pumped, scored a 170 today on PT 65. I really should have scored better, but I accidentally misread one of the rules on the last logic game, costing me 2-3 questions.
-2 LR
-5 LG
-2 LR
-5 RC

Hopefully I'm peaking at the right time. Making slow but steady progress in RC. A few weeks ago I couldn't have dreamed of getting a -5 there. LR continues to carry me though.

You're not peaking yet, Dusters. But you will be (assuming you don't get complacent) the week of :D congrats!

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
