I swear I must have looked at my Oct2011 LSAT score like 40-100 times.

Don't let up until the test is over. Now is the time to work.

Haha. Not me! I looked at my score, grew so furious that I almost broke my Mac over my knee, and signed up for the December LSAT within an hour. I haven't looked at it since.

It's brutal how much of an idiot I am.

I really question sometimes how I'm ever supposed to be a successful attorney when I do stuff like this ... I'm smart in school but the dumbest mother fucker ever when it comes to stuff like this.

Just finished PT 41 and got a composite 92, which equals 172!!!!

LR1: -2 (stupid mistakes)
LG: -3
LR2: -3
RC: -1

Excited as these are PT's that I've never seen before. Although, I'm not sure exactly how representative of newer PT's the 40's are--nonetheless, it's good news for me!

Drilling has really tightened up my game. I finally understand the value of specific-type drilling in LG and LR.

Wasn't even the games that got me. -9 on first section of LR. UGHHHHHH

Dude (or girl, I'm not sure), today was my first modern PT after a week of old PT's. Believe me, you'll feel better once you get back on the modern level. Those old LR's can rot in a deep pit.

What do you guys think of the possibility of applying with my current 161, taking the LSAT in February, and having the schools I'm applying to consider their decision with my updated score after I receive it?

Don't people usually do this when they're trying to get more schollies ?

I was honestly physically ill for a while ... now I'm just trying to find ANY WAY I can still try to apply this cycle with a decent score ...

What schools do you want? What's your GPA?

Most schools (worth attending) won't accept Feb LSATs for admissions purposes. If you're WLed it could help. If you're accepted you could get mo $$

Assuming the WL or acceptance comes with your current score**

My target / reach school was Berkeley, but I'm thinking anywhere T30, preferably in Cali...

Assuming non-URM (or spectacular softs) and a sub 3.8 you have no chance at Berkeley with a 161. Hopefully LSAC will let you sign up for December, though. You're out at USC and UCLA too as it stands.

That's important because if you cannot at least get WL they will not normally consider a Feb score. So, you might want to wait out a cycle. But! I still think LSAC is going to hook you up.

That's not entirely true. Here's a list of the schools that accept Feb scores:

Schools that accept February LSAT scores

Schools that accept February LSAT scores, but strongly recommend that you take an earlier one

These schools accept February scores but suggest earlier LSATs because seats may no longer be available in the incoming class by the time the applicant's file is complete, competition for seats (if available) will be fierce and will drastically diminish the applicant's chances, and/or scores become available too late for applicants to be considered for financial aid, scholarships, or Early Decision or Notification.

If you end up with an above median LSAT in feb and their class has not yet been filled, you still have a shot at being accepted. I have a friend who took only the Feb LSAT and got into USC for the same cycle so it is doable. And, as pickled said, if you're wait listed, then your feb score has a very good shot of getting you off the wait list.

Wtf should I tell LSAC?

I know I'm out at Berkeley and most other schools, trust me I never even considered applying with a 161 :(

Just be honest. Tell them why you forgot to sign up and tie in how the delay in score contributed.

Guest you made my point. Harvard is not on those lists. Just that TTT Yale.
