Just curious, is everyone that's retaking this December planning to apply for Fall 2013? I am also debating on whether I should retake or not as zones was more a less a guess...but I think I will wait until October scores come out first.

LOL, the "I did" part needs to be added to that quote about how he checked all his answers when he had 12 mins to spare to confirm if he got everything right. Should read "I finished the section roughly 12 minutes early and went back over every game to confirm I got everything right -- I did."
Dat confidence.

Anyone that DIDN'T bomb games already decide to retake? I probably was -3/-4 on games, which is disappointing but not disastrous. I really felt like I was struggling with my 5th section (LR2) because I was frazzled after being zoned to death, but might have been able to get it together.

WHY WON'T LSAC JUST TELL US HOW WE DID?!?!

I haven't decided 100% yet, but I am trying to get myself comfortable with the idea of a straight month of LR review and nothing but LR review (ok, and baking, but it's not like I can reschedule Thanksgiving).

Is anybody else finding it incredibly difficult to get back into hardcore studying?

i'm excited, i have an odd work/life schedule where i'm going nuts 8 months a year and then pretty much everything stops the first week of september until january. i studied for a few weeks last january and was just hoping to get into rutgers (my whole family lives in north jersey and it's cheap) and scored in their range on the February test. After some soul-searching I decided that instead of just settling I could do better for myself. Started studying again in July/August but couldn't get into a groove and was stuck in the low 160s. September came and I couldn't break 166 but I also didn't go below 164 and felt I was about to break through and finally on Monday it all clicked and I got a 173.

Feels good that I finally did it and I feel like I'm at the level where I really understand the test inside and out but timing is my biggest problem. I could probably go 180 if I had and extra 2 minutes on each LR and LG section and an extra 5 minutes on RC. So while I was signed up for October I woke up almost paralyzed from taking a hard hit the day before playing basketball and decided to absentee it because I'm not at the point where I'm guaranteed a 170+, even if I feel terrible.

Luckily I still have 5 PTs in the 60s which I will do once a week along with an earlier test another day of the week. But for those who don't feel like they have anything left to do but take PTs and review what do you do? I'd like to do more than 2 tests a week but I'll run out of material at the end.

I walked out with my Prep book last night when I was going to Starbucks...I didn't know what to do with myself after not studying for five days.

Just got an email from some random school wishing me good luck on the Oct. test... Sure, go ahead and kick a horse while it's down.

First Post on TLS.

Zones clicked a little late, had to take a narrowed down guess on two of the questions before time ran out. I had 10min for Zones, but it took so long to plug and chug that god damned game that I ran down the clock.

LR seemed standard, besides one or two odd questions per section.

!Kung!kong or whatever the hell that was will definitely be my undoing. I had 5 min left do to the passage, die to poor time management, and had to skim and answer without referring back to the passage in order to finish in time.

So it looks like I'm retaking!

This sucks because I took Dec '11 proctored and nailed a 174 a week before the LSAT, then self timed June '12 and got another 174. I thought I was golden, but reading comp has always been my personal hell, been consistently -1 LR/-0 or -1 LG for the past 4 PTs.

I'm going to order the 3rd edition MLSAT books and try and get through every RC section before the Dec LSAT. I've already done every LG section, but I'm going to go through and do them again and see if I can speed up even more. Going to try and speed up my LR even more so I have at least 5min to recheck the 2 or 3 that I may not have gotten quickly.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
