-6 LR (migraine meds)
-5 RC (migraine meds and Tangible Object Theory and Emotions & Music)
-3 LG ( I was down to the last second but I did them in class today with talking kids)
-2 LR (in class with talking kids)

85/101 for a 166. I guess not bad considering I was tired and doped last night for the first two sections.
You get migranes all the time! Man, I thought mine were often. You take the cake there.
I'm in a cycle right now (10 in the last two weeks.) It sucks. Barometric pressure changes + stress = migraine hell. I don't have one today, so maybe it's finally breaking.

I don't want the cake. You can have it. :?

Hmmmm. I shall consider your proposal in earnest. For now I am going for coffee at my sister's. . . who also just finished baking a crumb cake.

You take PTs in school?
:)

I do today. My kids are in a self-directed lesson today, so I figured why not. :)

Well that sucked.

PT 64:

LR1: -3
LG: -4 (3 on the Bike Game as I ran out of time while finishing it)
LR2: -4
RC: -3 (ugh)

Well, fuck. -14 for a 169 scaled.

Can anyone help me out with the quickest way to approach rule substitution questions (like the tougher, more time-consuming ones like #11 on PT 66?). I know the rule you choose is supposed to give you the same hypos/diagram but it still took a while to go through all the answers on this one. Do you guys normally just skip these and come back at the end if you feel like it will take a while?

Aside from looking at the score, I've never opened October's LSAT to even see what I got wrong. Took it today..

In October I went -5 LG, -6 RC, -11LR for a 162

Today:

-1 LG
-3 RC
-3 LR1
-2 LR2

171.. I still honestly think this was a harder test than a -10 curve even after doing it again. I guess people were right that zones wasn't that bad.. must have been test day anxiety when seeing a type of game I didn't see before.

Maybe you should focus on LG only and review each and every LG section you do with Velocity between now and the Fall of King's Landing?

It's a private group. If you want an invite PM me a link to your profile and I'll add you.

In other news, just did PT 48, fucking -8 Curve... wtf is that?

-1LR
-1LG :x
-2RC

175

I'll take -4 raw score any day, but this was the nastiest curve i've ever seen... The test did feel easier than normal though, so probably still fair.

I did the exact same thing, and saw about the same in terms of improvement. Personally, I think that is a -11 test, not because of the games but because of the !Kung. I went -5 on that passage alone the first go around and -4 the second time. My retake of that test was about even with all of my other tests when I took them the FIRST time around...so I just think October was a hard test for me.

Hey everybody, guess what?

All of my classes have made my finals next week optional, and since I have A's in all of them and this is the last week of school...I'm basically finished and graduated. No worrying about school for me this Saturday (:

Ha, yep.

Mrizza, do you want to drill RC? Maybe a few sections from the later 50s?

That's what I did in October (only LG up until test day) because I thought I was all set on RC and LR and figured if anything was going to trip me up it would be a really weird logic game.

Turned out to be a pretty good idea in retrospect. Did well on zones, which I partially attributed to the fact that I was on such a "games" roll. But then I did really badly on RC, and who knows if I would have done better if I'd drilled some RC before the test. YMMV.

Cool now all you have left to do is kill the LSAT and walk in graduation for your parents! Sounds like a great way to finish out the year.
