LSAT Picture Attached to Ticket
http://www.lsac.org/jd/lsat/photo-requirements.asp
How strict are they on this? I have a picture that's just my face. No shoulders, straight ahead, no hat, etc. But according to that link, they get bent out of shape if it's overexposed of if there are shadows on your face or the wall behind you?
Is this worth getting stressed about? I can't imagine how I'd feel if I wasn't allowed to take the test due to a picture that they judged to be slightly improper for some reason.

Last year for the october exam, they turned away at least three people who didn't have the correct picture. One dude used a facebook photo
I would just suggest going to your Rite Aid and getting the photo taken for the $8. Much easier and won't have to worry about anything

I went and got the passport photo taken at Walgreens, but I've noticed that there is a very slight (maybe 1 inch in actual terms) shadow cast on the background by the right side my head from my face down to my chin. It's almost imperceptible unless you take a real good look at the picture. Could this shadow, which I didn't even notice until a few hours ago, prevent me from taking the test?

Could it? Possibly.
Will it? Very unlikely.
This is anecdotal, obviously, but, in my experience, the proctor hardly looked at the pic. He made sure it was me, fit in the space allotted, and wasn't outrageously against the rules. At one point, they stopped looking at them at all.

you know, I thought about this because i planned on wearing glasses instead of contacts and planned to take them off during the test. That is hilarious that you took two separate pics.. why couldn't you just take off your glasses if it came down to that lol... and are you gonna take two lsat tickets with two different pictures with you?

I got kicked out of the October exam last year because the top of my head wasn't visible. Just go get a passport picture. The $8 isn't worth possibly being kicked out and forced to wait 2 months

Was it literally half of your face showing or a tiny bit cut off? How strict are they with this shit? There is a slight shadow in the 'ideal' picture on lsac, just like there is a slight shadow on my pic

I used my cellphone camera and a color printer. Picture seemed to meet the requirements well enough. I had no issues on test day.

On my pic you couldn't see the very top of my head, it was a very tiny amount missing. Yours sounds fine. My situation was due to one supervisor overstepping her authority. She kicked a couple of other kids out for similar minute infractions. The second time I went to CVS and had no issues.

How about if your picture fits slightly over the box? I got a professional 2 x 2 but it comes slightly outside the box - i know this is stupid but it says if it doesnt fit within its not going to be accepted? but the box must be less than 2x2!!

Re: LSAT Picture Attached to Ticket
For all those worried about glasses, for each of the FOUR times that I've taken the test (
) I put them in their case inside my ziplock bag - then I simply put them on when I was assigned to my seat. Granted the first two times I took the test there was no photo requirement, but the relevant two times prior I had no problems doing this. Hope that helps.
