Breakfast of Champions?

Post by Poo-T » Thu Sep 27, 2012 8:01 am

Sup guys, what's a breakfast to eat the morning of the test? I was thinking something like wheat bread and sausage. What are you guys gonna do.

Just eat what you normally do for breakfast; you don't want to get sick or sleepy from a big greasy breakfast. Then bring a snack with you like fruit or a protein bar and eat it during break. You'll be fine.

But my breakfast is usually a medium latte :(

Oatmeal (with ground cinnamon and cranberries) with veggie egg omelette for me. Also some peppermint tea.

I'm also curious what others were eating. For June, I just ate the same lunch every day for about a month before (two meat-filled, toasted sandwiches and a glass of milk or coke).

I live about an hour from my test center though, so whatever I eat has to last me from about 7am until 12ish (I don't care if I crash during the writing portion and wrote about 800 illegible words last time in 25 minutes).

Last time also I brought two clifbars which were absolutely delicious, although I only ate 1.5 of them. I'm thinking to again double up on that clifbar goodness... but i'm torn between what exactly to get in the morning.

I had an egg & cheese bagel sandwich this morning with a glass of orange juice, but an hour later I'm already pretty hungry. I may just end up making some sandwiches again :-D

I recently rediscovered waffles and the blueberry/wholewheat ones are actually pretty healthy. Complex carbs should last a while and they're tasty and easy to eat before the test

whatever you eat-you shold start eating it now for breakfast, so you know how your body will react and can get used to it. YOu dont want to eat something unusual the day of the test- and have to run to the bathroom during section 2 because your stomache is upset ( or you have to go number 2)

I presume the milksteak concoction is to slow down the digestion of the four loco?

Actually now that you mention it, my most hearty breakfast to date has been four buttermilk waffles with buttermilk syrup (that way you don't have to spread butter on your waffles but can still enjoy that sweet buttery taste!)

Perhaps Waffles + milk + multivitamin + ________ would do the trick. I'll try it tomorrow.

Breakfast: 5 raw eggs (Keep the yolk, yo, none of that egg-white nonsense)
After section 3 break: A nice raw juicy slab of meat. Your test-mates won't even be able to unwrap their Clif-bars when they see your blood stained 1-gallon freezer bag, grimacing as you sink your teeth into its tender pink flesh.
