Testing Center Question - NYC

Post by sportstar668 » Wed Sep 26, 2012 8:22 pm

Hi everyone...anyone have experience taking the test in the Manhattan area? I'm close to Fordham Law and think they offer it there, but not sure where/if it's a good location. Any tips? Advice?

My advice? Get a room at the Marriott in Long Island the night before. Wake up, take the elevator to the lobby and take the test with large tables and no one around you.

Wow, good idea. Any reason why you're not in favor of the test locations in NYC (ie Pace, NYU, Fordham) ?

I did the marriott. Definitely the way to go.

Don't forget the uniformed bellhops directing you to all the bathrooms during the break. And the tables of ice water set up for you.

Anyone know the full name of this test center and if its offered every time the test is administered? I can't seem to find it on the below list:

It's a preference thing . If size of tables don't bother you then take it wherever you'd like. I like to have room and large desks and a lot of NYC schools have flip desks.

So given that its a preference thing, would I need to contact LSAC directly and request the location? It's not listed as possible choices on my LSAC profile. :(

Well, the way I got it was by signing up on the last day of registration, and then being sent out there.
