50's and Higher LR vs Earlier LR Forum

Seems to be a consensus that LR in the 50's and higher is a bit more tricky. How much more tricky? Is a LR score in the 40's really less representative to any appreciable extent?

I don't really agree with that. I've been doing about the same (-0 to -2) on 50s as I did before hand. The first 10 - 20 PTs have some noticeably weird questions but since then it's all pretty standard.

I thought the consensus was that the newer LR was actually more clear and somewhat easier? Honestly, I haven't found all that much difference. The newer tests seem somewhat easier for LR but its not much. I would say that if you are doing good on the pre 50s LR, you would also do well on the ones after.

You should take a look at a few of the new ones though just to be sure.

I tend to miss the same amount (-2 to -4) but I think the newer ones take longer. I tend to finish most the old ones in 28 minutes or so

They're definitely trickier in the higher numbers that the entire question will rely on one word. Start to be a lot more careful in terms of the word choice that they pick, because you understanding of THE law vs A law can make or break a question.
