Does it use every LR problem from the PTs it draws from?

Anybody know? Or perhaps there's a list somewhere on TLS I'm unaware of?

Also- just some advice for those who are in the beginning or haven't started their LSAT prep---

Now that I've done the Kaplan Mastery LR in accordance with PithyPike's study schedule- (it would cost more $) but I would recommend simply buying and downloading Cambridge LSAT's grouped by type LR when you want to practice LR by type- especially when you are first familiarizing yourself with the LSAT.

I recommend this because then you won't be in my position wondering if you've done every problem from those PT's or not!

Thanks TLSers!

### Re: Kaplan Mastery Practice Q

It's Austinyo Hall !!!!! (Sorry, I bet you get that a lot)

I have the 2011 edition of the Kaplan Mastery and Timing Practice book, and at the bottom of every page, it provides Preptest, Section, and Question reference for each question that appears on the page. Is this not sufficient for you to be able to figure out which tests you've sullied with your preparation efforts?

ETA: I was compelled to add the "It's Austinyo Hall" bit at the beginning. I just couldn't help myself.

### Re: Kaplan Mastery Practice Q

Ok, Austinyo, here's the deal. I asked my wife to help determine the PT/Question usage of the Kaplan Mastery LR book. She made an Excel workbook with all the questions that appear in the Kaplan book, based on the source reference at the bottom of each page. I was actually surprised by the results, so I thought I'd share them here on this thread, since you were specifically asking about it. I don't know if I can/should share the workbook, however, because I honestly don't know if it would violate Kaplan's copyright on the material (she also included the Star ranking and Kaplan question category for each one).

The data below is in the format PT/Section/Count; the last line just gives the count of the number of questions in the first part of the book, which is 927.

### Re: Kaplan Mastery Practice Q

Cerebro!

Thank you so much! And it was pretty cool of your wife to do that. That was exactly what I was talking about. So helpful. Ideally, it would be cool to see which numbers from the specific PT were used- but that's no problem.

I have the 2009 Edition, which is a little different (the LR section uses tests from 5-37, from what I could tell)- so I just wanted to see the amount of Qs I had done from each one. From the data you gave me, looks like I have more LR sections for practice!

Thanks again. Oh- and that was pretty clever- I'll admit I haven't gotten that before!

### Re: Kaplan Mastery Practice Q

I uploaded this to a Google Spreadsheet; I removed the Kaplan-specific content, so this one only lists the LSAT questions used in the Kaplan book, without providing any Kaplan-specific categorization of the questions. You can access it at the link below:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlKRFXdysS6QdG8yakdYLU44bHpXMTVfS1g3SVVtSGc

Since you have an older edition, it may not match up 100% with the contents of this workbook

If you find any problems, let me know.
