So what are we thinking for study and test day? Addies, 5 hour energy, simple syrup?

Any and all suggestions welcomed.

5 hour energy was my go-to. Worked like a charm. One before the test and one after the break.

I drank a sugar free Red Bull, though that was the norm for me. If you've been doing full, timed prep tests and having success, you should probably not stray too far from whatever your habits are when you practice.

Doesn't LSAC have some kind of anti-doping regs? Random screens?

^Now that would be funny. After the proctor collects your test, "Excuse me sir, would you mind following me for a urine collection?"

Seriously though, I wouldn't deviate from what you've been doing the last while. If you've been drinking a Red Bull before every Prep Test, do the same on test day. Then take another at the break if you feel you need it.

That's all fine and dandy...

But in June, that advice worked terribly for me.

Test day was nothing like PT's because I got about an hour of sleep the night before and adrenaline.

The combined effect made me feel like I was in the middle of Rocky Horror Picture Show - Law School Admissions Edition.

This time around my solution will be a sleeping pill (which I have thoroughly tested) and... well, I'm still working on the second. Psychotherapy?

Snort a 20mg of A and finish each section with time to spare imo

I'm fond of sipping on some purple drank throughout a PT

I'll have to check whether my 10 Hour Power (more potent 5 Hour Energy knockoff) is still fresh. Vitamin B energy shots saved me as an undergrad, but be aware that some people get nasty diarrhea from them, so don't take one for the first time on test day.

I hate to state the obvious, but the best performance enhancing substances are to be found here:

Screw that earthy crunchy stuff. I want synthetic science baby. In a perfect world we'd all get 8 hours of sleep and eat healthy, but then there would be no market for caffeine and beta blockers. That's commie talk, are you a communist? Why do you hate 'Murcia so much?

Speaking of beta blockers, has anyone used these to combat performance anxiety? I've read about that before but never actually known someone to do it.

I've become quite fond of L-theanine with a cup of coffee.

Redline Extreme -- Gives you time to freak out, complete a section, freak out again, check all your answers over again, and finally, misbubble half of the section just before time is up

lol it's from the movie limitless, a drug that allows you to use 100% of your brain's capacity and basically makes you the smartest person alive. I have wished that I could have it on test day on a few occasions.

I wouldn't take scripts on test day. Scripts are fine for pting and studying, but they make your mind race a little too fast for the real thing...at least that's what I found during my engineering UG.

Edit: which is why I am not taking scripts for pt's, to make sure I have the same mindset as on test day (even tho I take addy frequently for work/school)

Even at half dosage?

Just make sure you test this (or any other "performance-enhancing strategy") out before test day. What worked wonders for gaud made me score 10 points below my PT average. Thankfully, I didn't have to learn this the hard way.

Also, please stay the fuck away from Adderall, ESPECIALLY if you don't have an attention deficit disorder. It has terrible, terrible side effects and the marginal increase in focus is not nearly worth the huge subsequent uptick in volatile-neurotic thoughts/behavior (which, ironically enough, often get in the way of said marginal increase in focus). Take this from someone who has legit ADHD.
