PT 21 Q 12-17

Just one of those questions where i still didn't get the "aaah" moment despite getting 5/6 under the ideal game time 2nd time around.
For those who want to tune in, it's on page 86.
I'm looking at q13 and i'm asking myself how am i violating the rules and why is A wrong?
This is my set up:
- Q - X - - <---Mornings
U R Y Z - - <--Afternoons
________________________________________________
M T w TH F S <----days
you'll have to excuse the lack of space between each days, i'm not good with html and i can't figure out how to let the space for each day actually show. Just know mondays= none in the morning and U in the afternoon, and saturday ends with none in the morning and none in the afternoon.

2 additional questions i have:
1) In the stimulus it does mention that Q & R must be done consecutively, does this mean i can have Q done on an appropriate afternoon and R the following day in the morning?
2) While the stimulus specifically states that each variable must be done exactly once for a full morning or afternoon, can i have 2 variables in say, one morning or one afternoon?
Thanks in advance for the insights. October LSAT YOU'RE GOING DOWNNN GRRRRR
