Inconsistent Scoring

Hello everyone. I have been prepping for the October LSAT since June. Currently I am scoring between -3-5 on each LR, -2-4 LG, and -3-6 on RC. My last 5 practice tests in order have been 163, 165, 170, 169, 164.

As you can see there is a large variance. Is there anyway other than drilling timed sections to decrease the variance both between tests and within each type of section? I already have the LR and LG bibles, and don't want to buy any other books.

Do you think a 172 by October 6th is doable?

Thank you.

You should really post your raw scores instead, its more indicative of your progress. We can't assume anything from the scores you posted; they could all be within the 84-86 raw range for all we know.

The LSAT is only accurate to about +/- 3 points. Your average is 166.2 and only one score is out of the +/- range, and it's by .8 points.

This isn't inconsistency.
