It's been said for each section to improve your accuracy before working on timing. It's also been said anyone can get 100% on logic games if they aren't timed. Do other LSAT-takers find this to be true? Does the strategy you use to get answers to the games only work as a shortcut to staring at the page?

After doing a bunch of games I'm taking a few days off to reconsider my approach. If timing is supposed to be the real test of the LGs, and not the complexity of the operations, this is important.

Yes. It's true.

If you're staring blankly at the page during the LSAT, you are doing it wrong. If you are wondering 'wtf do I do', then you have not practiced enough. Thinking 'Ok, what will work' is acceptable, however.

I suggest this as a strategy: post less on TLS, and spend that time practicing. You will figure out how it works. Don't feel you need to check and double-check every single step of the way.

How many seperate threads do you need for these musings?

1. Drill LG's by type until you are too familiar with how each game type works, know the best way to approach each game type, are not surprised by any question associated with any game type, and know the most efficient way to go about answering each of those questions. This is the accuracy part.
2. Use all your well-honed, efficient techniques to burn through timed LGs over and over again until -0's become a mater of muscle memory. This is the timing part.

Anybody can -0 games untimed because, with enough hypotheticals, one could process-of-elimination every question in LG. That's not the skill that people on here are telling you to hone when they advise that you work on accuracy.

If you have any other individual thoughts, create a thread for each of them.

Do what works for you. There is NO "set in stone" strategy that is going to help you get -0 for 20 logic game sections in a row. You need to adapt from what the book teaches to see what works for you.
