Here's a question for anyone who took a formal logic class in UG: is absorbing the "logic chain" method for grouping worthwhile when you have at least a semester's worth of experience dicking around with conditionals in the standard notation of propositional logic?

If you're down to the wire and you have to decide whether to tackle this method or like, drill an LG section or something, then I would say you'll probably do fine with the UG logic background. Since you've got over a month left till Oct (assuming that's when you're taking it), why the hell not? It can't hurt to expose yourself to as many tools as you can. You may not use it, but seeing how any prep company approaches the test will give you a little more of that meta-insight to knowing the LSAT inside and out.

Disclaimer: I didn't do either of the things you are polling. But in almost every case where I looked to a couple different sources for an LSAT skill, I benefited from the variety.

It would be better to read the LSAT specific explanation than not.
