Logic Games

Postby inevitable510 » Wed Jul 18, 2012 11:40 pm

Im taking the Oct LSAT for the first time so I have a time constraint so here's my question: Should I be studying the old logic games before PT 30 or just the more recent ones (like last 20)? I've noticed the Logic Game sections for PT 1-30 are HARD AS HELL!!!!

I'd try to master all of them regardless of when they came out, but I'd just do the more recent ones if you're pressed for time.

And don't be afraid to practice/re-do old ones

Maybe you should skip the earlier games that don't appear very much in the recent LG sections. But the harder these earlier games are, the better for practice.

Is it general consensus that a 170+ is still obtainable if I were to just do PT's 40+? I know its an open ended question, sorry ahead of time.

i'm sure there are people who get 170's doing only the 50's and 60's. Just do all of them - there's plenty of time, they are fun to do, and it boosts your skill level. If you are beginning, start with the older ones (before 30) so you don't waste the new ones "learning"

That depends on where you started. Did you do a diagnostic? How many wrongs do you get when you do a full section of logic games? If you are like me and you were getting more than 10 wrong initially and couldn't finish the games on time, then you need more practice. If you are already good on the games then you can get away with less practice.

Do a mix of both if you cant do all of them. If you can do the hard ones, you'll ace the easy ones.
