Is it normal to feel 100% ashamed of my gpa?
I think anything over 95% ashamed is considered abnormal, sorry.

Cambridge I don't know but LSAC says they'll have it out by the end of the month

If it's for good reasons like:
1) neglecting school work to drink and chase women
or
2) a really hard major
Then no.
Being a splitter is just playing the admissions game on hard mode brah.

I've said it a million times - if I could go back and kick my ass I'd do it in a millisecond. At least your brain is still in study mode, Miller. I'm having to fire up habits I haven't used in years.

Re: October 2012 Retakers
So, I think I'll heed some advice and go ahead and intensely review PT66. Would anyone like to arrange a review group?
edit: ill just go to the manhattan review.

Re: October 2012 Retakers
Manhattan is offering a free review of the June testtomorrow Wednesday night.
http://www.manhattanlsat.com/online-classes.cfm
I've been preoccupied and put the wrong day.
Also, I put off reviewing my December test until right before the June test, and just retook it. It really didn't help me much, but I didn't do a full analysis comparing my new vs. old answers. Reviewing my June test really helped me identify what I'd done (test anxiety for most of my mistakes - just stupid, stupid, stupid) and helped give me the initiative to sign up for October.
I think it depends on your situation and how you felt about the June test. My #1 issue is test anxiety, with #2 being a need to fine tune some LR and just get ridiculously comfortable with games. I redid all the games on June, timed, and went -1. It's amazing how messed up my thinking gets under stress.

Oh nice. I have been avoiding looking at pt66, but I think having the manhattan people go over it will make looking at that test bearable.

I've got free video explanations for all 4 Logic Games on my site, as well as PT66 itself, if anyone wants to review it.

I was planning on retaking PT66 sometime in September and then comparing it to my June '12 perfomance. But, it seems like many TLSers are reviewing it before resuming their prep.
Any thoughts/suggestions? Should I review first? Or, should I save it as a full timed PT in September?

Retaking as well. I only received a 150. I was extremely sick during the test - I'll spare you the details.
I'm really hoping for a score in the 160s in October.
ETA: I was kicking ass on the logical reasoning when I was taking PTs. Those are the sections I did the worst on for the actual test. I was sucking at logic games during PTs, and I did the best on that section. Reading comp was a close 2nd to logic games. I was able to see where I messed up on reading comp. I'm not sure how to improve there, because it was a story that bored and confused me.

My problem is that I neglected work in order to study for the months leading up to the test, so now I'm working 9-12 hour days and have obligations in the evenings....I may just try to fit it in where I can in July and start ramping up in August. I honestly think 3 months of hard prep is too much anyway after everything I put into the June test.

Heyo, lets go October. Went LR -4 RC -3 LG -7 for a 167 this June. Hoping to work out my LG problems using pithypike and maybe even gain a few points on LR and RC as well. Got started Friday by re-reading a LGB and LRB chapter, started working games Saturday, and did some LR and LG practice today. Come on October, deliver me a 170!

my feelings exactly...i wish i could go back and give my 18 year old self a lecture about grades...my boyfriend makes fun of me for plugging in so many random sets of lsat/gpa scores into lsp to see my chances.lol
I will be retaking in October. Going to be doing Blueprint Online so I have a timeline but also incorporating more PT's and my powerscore bibles. Anyone think it would help to include manhattan prep books or would that be confusing considering i am doing blueprint and powerscore already?

Bump.
Anyone?

I would work through it in September after more practice, but not as a full PT. Since that is the test you took in June you could run the risk of remembering certain things about it (mostly the main points of RC and basics in LG).

I have officially registered for the October LSAT. Turns out I qualified for fee waivers for both that and the CAS. Sometimes being poor is pretty awesome.

Re: October 2012 Retakers
Question for retakers: How were the June 2012 games? I have already purchased the exam, but I obviously do not want to take it right now. What I mean is, I have been hearing that the games are less inference based, and that kind of scares me. I have been taking the Velocity apprach recently, and have found that the methods have allowed me to save about two minutes time on some games, which I can then allocate to other games in the hopes that I can attain a near perfect LG section. Sorry if the question seems unnecessary or if I appear overly worried lol.

Re: October 2012 Retakers
I just registered for the October test.
I spoke with Corey at Manhattan yesterday, and he was very helpful, which gave me the emotional boost I needed. I'll be firing up the prep at the end of the week.
