It took three sellers on Amazon, but I got my TestMasters books today! This is the last company I am trying. I figure if I can't get a 170+ after having worked through Kaplan, Powerscore, Manhattan, Blueprint, and TestMasters, then I just don't deserve it!

Can't wait to see who e-mails me with a 170+.

Its going to be surreal.
I got a 168 and receive only emails from unranked schools. What's your secret?
Really? 169 and I got UC Irvine and UW, and I think Indiana, with a shit load of Cooley, Phoenix, etc.
I got an email from UCI inviting me to apply to their fall 2008 class.

Hello everyone! Another retaker here. I took my first LSAT last June and did significantly lower than expected because of logistics.
I am mentally prepared to start studying again. I officially start next Monday. I plan on watching the Blueprint Movie as I do not want to have to set up a self-study schedule and I will benefit from some structure. I have a lot of material from the first test but I want to start fresh except for maybe going the LG bible again.
Any experience with Blueprint as a retaker?
Best of luck TLSers!

Legit drilling right now.

Been at it since this morning.
100 questions are taking me much longer than expected.

How long do you drill for?
And untimed?

Hi, everyone. Started lurking on TLS a few months ago, since I was pretty much clueless about law school admissions. Took a Princeton Review course and unfortunately didn't take it too seriously (since I wasn't serious about LS yet). Anyway, didn't prep the way I should have and ended up with a 156 after PTing around a 165. I think I was overconfident. This, coupled with a bad GPA, doesn't bode well for me. Planning on retaking in October now that I'm done with my senior year, landed a job and moved. I'm getting work experience right now but am unsure which cycle to apply in.

Geez, must be nice to be able to drop that kind of cash on something you don't even intend on taking seriously.

Updates everyone?

We should all report on our progress so a social stigma develops when we
take the day off :P

Read 20 pages of the Manhattan LR book.
Drilling flaw questions now.

Can someone please tell me how many correct responses were needed to earn scores of 160, 159, and 158 on the June 2012 administration, respectively?

Thanks!

Checking in, this will be my 3rd and final re-take. Just bought the Manhattan LR book, using Velocity for LG, any suggestions for RC? I think I will mainly be drilling; I don't think I'll do any full PT's. What's everyone's plan for this re-take?

I'm all about peer pressure. I found myself struggling with some LR basics that I'm so unmotivated to study right now.
Public shaming and humiliation welcome, if you can motivate me to get my ass of TLS (or Netflix, Pinterest, etc.) and on to Velocity where it belongs...

+1 Had a half day at work today. Instead of studying when I got home, I watched, not one, not two, but 5 episodes of Glass House on ABC.com app. Never even saw the show before today, but welcomed it as an excuse to not study. How patheTTTic?

Whats up guys. I think I'm going to be a reg. around these parts for next two months. I got into school but think I'm going to pass on it, retake, and shoot for a better school. I just couldn't justify the cost with their recent track record. Tough choice, never thought I would find myself in this position.

anyone on an uber-cutty schedule they want to share?

....its just hitting me that I'm doing this... good lord.

Nice, still a solid school, but I hear you. Yep my 3rd and final shot here. I've gone from 143 diagnostic to 153 (Feb) to 158 (June) I was PTing in the mid 160's and completely choked in June. Last one for you?

Yep..last one. Kinda unnerving huh? I usually PT around mid-160s as well btw. And yes hastings is solid but I don't think it's worth the cost. I cant rationalize taking on that debt. I'm really bummed.

This will be my third try, as well. Are most of you guys studying everyday or taking days off? How many PT's a week should I be doing a week to build the stamina tqhat I lacked in Feb and June?

The most I did was three pts a week during the two weeks before the test.. I felt pretty strong stamina wise.. I'm sure some people take 4 to 5 a week toward the end. That would have burned me out I think..it depends on you to be honest. More tests can't hurt so long as you are getting better and reviewing thoroughly.
