attacking longer LR?

Hi everyone!

How does everyone approach LR with longer stimuli?
I find myself spending a lot of time digesting everything, sometimes only to find that one line is all it takes to answer the question.

what i do now: i read, taking note of vocab used then read Q and the questions.

Is there a more efficient way?

thanks everyone! :-)

Read the question first. This is a huge time saver, especially for role questions.

As Pancakes said, you should almost always read the question stem first. That way, you can hone in on what to look for when going through the stimulus.

I read extremely fast, but I think my LR strategy really works for me (yet since I read fast, as I said, take it with a grain of salt).

I read the stimulus first, then the question stem, then the stimulus ANOTHER time for each question. Then answering is ridiculously easy. I usually have 5 min left and routinely score -0 on LR.

Good luck!

I usually have anywhere from 3-7 minutes left and miss 1-3 so I will try this out. Seems like it would be more thorough. Thanks!
